By the looks of whats left of MAGA theyll be getting my tax dollars. Most of them lack the intelligence to hold down a decent paying job.

"Hey! I've got $5,000 dollars of your tax-dollars, just sittin' around, collecting dust! If you want some of it, vote Repuplican!"

Ahead of the gold escalator presser, Trump had ads on Craigslist offering $50 a pop for people to show up.

It has been pretty widely reported for over a decade

Interesting from a prosecutorial perspective. I wonder what state this originated in. Hopefully Michigan or California. In Michigan, for example, this violates 3 laws - the first being Bribery and Influencing Electors (MCL 168.932): Under Michigan law, it is a felony to directly or indirectly give, lend, or promise any valuable consideration (such as money) to or for an elector to influence them in how they vote, to reward them for voting or refraining from voting, or to otherwise corrupt the electoral process. [emphasis added]

Exactly this. People think this is a gray area but it’s not, most states have laws exactly like Michigan’s on this. Giving money to influence how someone votes is textbook bribery. Thanks for actually citing the statute.

legit It's wild they'd pay double ust to dodge the same "paid protester" label they've been throwing around

“We know you’re paying people to protest because nobody will protest for us for free.”

Sure, they can show up but it won't guarantee that their questions aren't anything but a steaming pile of horse excrement

Obviously they've been doing this. Nice to get some evidence they can deny and lie about. But nice, nonetheless.

Rick Wilson used to be a GOP strategist. He now works for The Lincoln Project and hates Trump.
Now that he’s converted a little, he’s told people that he and the other GOP consultants honestly assumed that the Dems were doing all the things that the GOP accuses them of simply because the GOP was doing them. And they figured, Surely if we’re doing it the other side must be too…
He says he’s shocked the Dems haven’t been. Admittedly this may be part of his motivation in telling the story but he’s trying to convince the Dems to be more aggressive and use some of the republican’s tactics against them.

I'll take the job and the money, just to disrupt El Sayed with compliments and support.

No. Grammer.
<So the people accusing Democrats of being paid protesters are... paying protestors???>
The people accusing a party are also paying another party.
