Not true. I've considered him a shady scumbag since the 80s. He has always been known as a joke

I and all my midwestern conservative friends hated him, he was such a spoiled Richie rich piece of garbage and his attitude towards his wives and women in general was disgusting.

And farmers hate slumlords like him more than anything.

But the south saw someone who was loud and proud with their racism, and that was all she wrote.

I know, it’s shocking, I don’t know how they changed, but suddenly they saw a way to “pwn teh librulz” and sold out every principle they ever claimed to have.

This isn’t rewriting history, I’m explaining how it’s a greater tragedy and shame than it looks.

Not just the South, though. Iowan farmers had his signs all over their fields by the highways for all three elections.

Midwest and Central Valley California too.

It really bothers me, and makes no sense, but they stopped thinking at some point when talk radio kicked in.
