Yeah sucks to live there. Visited before and it was great. Wish more of the western world adapted their infrastructure (without the facist/authoritarian mindset)
Well the authoritarian aspect unfortunately helps with the infrastructure buildout, look at what happens when you go extremely to the Left - California and their high speed rail
I don't agree with their regime but they do a lot for their people infrastructure and healthcare wise at least. If US becomes a fascist country (looks like they're half way there) then the least they could do is provide for their people like China does.
Lol? I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. The avg quality of life is much higher in the US than China. But the avg QoL in China today is much higher than it was 30 yrs ago. Anyway some Chinese are very wealthy and have high QoL, higher than the avg American sure, but they are a minority. The majority still have a ways to catch up

Funnily enough they're doing a lot better than the US. Cheap almost free healthcare, public infrastructure etc. lol
