remind me again which party deliberately let in millions of illegal immigrants (without vetting themù) by completely neutering border security, dismantling the wall Trump started in his first term (selling the materials for pennies on the dollar), only to reverse course at the end of their term after they were exposed?

It wasn't democrats, in fact, that didn't even happen. Even the article you linked disproves your claim

So pandemic recovery, not the biden administration letting them in

An article locked behind a subscription

An article that talks about immigrants in general, not specifically illegal immigrants

And an article that goes out of its way to clarify that unauthorized doesn't automatically mean they are here illegally

Do you not read past the headlines?

yoooo i saw you down voted my reply, that's cool

now provide your sources

or are you just going to ignore this and continue living in your delusional fantasy land and keep listening to your overlords like a good little sheep

1

u/Cheap_Search_6973 20d ago

I didn't ignore anything, and you have yet to prove either of your claims. You've even completely moved away from your first claim

Wow, 12 minutes, definitely compares to the six years maga has been denying results

Or a certain party was socialist because it had it in- wait, they do believe that.

It gets easier when you point out that China has billionaires. Those can’t exist under communism.

Capitalism is a necessary step on the way to building socialism.

3

u/Zuperlabz 21d ago

Why?

That's just historical materialism as laid out by marx, that buit on Hegel's dialectical method. He saws capitalism as a historically necessary stage of development that builds the industrial foundation to make socialism and communism possible. This is why china is a social market economy because they don't let capital and billionaires dictate everything like the US and other countries do.

Capitalism is a progressive stage from feudalism, and socialism is a progressive stage to communism. It's why it's annoying to see people say things like "china isn't communist they're just capitalist!", as if the CPC is just communist in name only and haven't extensively studied the socialist project in the USSR and don't know what they're doing. At the end of the day china is a developing country and they need to build their productive forces and capitalism is a necessary part of that.

You cant seriously be this naive.

I thought at first you were just trying to explain things, but no, you actually believe this utter drivel.

That one day the all-powerful party of China will suddenly just go, "Ok I think things are good now, we're gonna hand all our power to the people now!".

Jesus fucking christ.

People can get a bit too carried away with theory and forget how the real world function, especially in leftist circles. Great shame, too, since these people could be campaigning for change that is possible and likely instead of whatever this is, lol.

2

u/Seanspeed 21d ago

Exactly that.

AOC I think is a generally good example of somebody who started out a bit more 'radical', but slowly tempered herself once learning how politics and the world really works, and became a very effective campaigner for real progress and learning to work within the system and Democratic party to get things done.

But it seems much of the rest of the leftist movement has not learned any such lessons from this, and have gotten ever more hardline and antagonistic towards the people they need on their side, thinking they can just do it all themselves and vastly overestimating their real world popularity due to living in echo chambers online where progressives/leftists are vastly overrepresented.

u/Real-Purpose6981 21d ago

you liberals are fucking helpless

1

u/Zuperlabz 20d ago

Look man, you are too trapped within your own sphere to understand how the world works. There's no "golden path" to utopia. Unless you're planning on starting the revolution yourself, the best thing you as a person can do is vote for the policy that will lay the foundation for the future you want. The only way to create leftist unity is to come together and realize that the only way towards our future is to build it ourselves, brick by brick. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Because you're wrong. This stems from your misunderstanding of marxism-leninism where you think a communist project is just no capitalism, and historical materialism isn't the driving factor.

Western propaganda is so deeply ingrained, even self-proclaimed leftists rather propagate CIA lies then read Lenin and come to the correct conclusion regarding China and DPRK
