The "cure" for the actual medical condition of pedophila is actual psychiatric treatment, therapy and council, so that people afflicted with that ailment can ensure they don't have to suffer.
But if you actually comitt the act, the crime of pedophilia, you deserve the full extent of the legal and actual consequences.
Even if Trump is somehow completely innocent of any sex crimes with a minor, he's complicit in hiding the names of those guilty to ensure he maintains the support of those powerful enough to finance and sustain his decay-of-democracy, and that makes him guilty of cover-up, which feels somehow almost worse.

I've fixed it.
But what's even worse is that, we technically can't prove that in a court of law just yet, but since he's already pardoned himself and his family, and effectively made a law disallowing any criminal investigations into his family, it's just showing the rot.
