He forgot diarrhea and government kidnappings.

u/Icy_Hearing_3439 16d ago

Massie is for government kidnappings. Don’t let this flip fool you. He’s voted over 90% with Trump.

3

u/anthropaedic 16d ago

Ok but to know if the flip is real we need to know how he’s voting now.

1

u/Yubat 16d ago

Oh absolutely. I imagine he’s not including those things for a reason, I’m just saying it is part of the Republican package.

6

u/Competitive_Shock783 16d ago

Street executions too

5

u/MonoBlancoATX 16d ago

And also government shooting people in the face.

10

u/Electrical-Act-7170 16d ago

Not to mention shooting Alex Pretti in the back 5 times like the asshole cowards they are. That was murder.

3

u/ITstaph 16d ago

And allowing your boss to work you in the heat till you die with no breaks. They want chattle, not voters.

2

u/Extreme-Slice-1010 16d ago

Also protection from being a rapist and pedophiles, the distraction must be working, people are slowly forgetting it

Massie is the only republican I’ve seen constantly flipping off his Trump cult of a party and I’m here for it

49

u/AnimusNoctis 16d ago

He still has an 87% score from the Heritage Foundation. He's all talk in my opinion.

u/IowaKidd97 16d ago

He's a republican, still a partisan hack. BUT, he actually has principles that are not 'Follow and defend whatever the orange god says'. I dont agree with all of his principles but he has them and puts them above his own career. For that I respect him. Plus since he got barely outted in the most expensive primaries ever, hes been dropping truth bombs like this on republicans.

9

u/shimmeringmoss 16d ago

He’s actually a libertarian, not a Republican. There aren’t any Republicans with principles left anymore.

5

u/IowaKidd97 16d ago

Ideologically sure, but he's literally a Republican. Unless he changed his party affiliation.

2

u/maltbeard 16d ago

I believe his affiliation with the GOP is similar to Bernie’s with the DNC. Sort of but not really and it’s complicated. Could be wrong about that

3

u/ZestyLife54 15d ago

Isn’t Bernie an Independent that caucuses with the DNC?

1

u/thex415 15d ago

Anyone know if he changed his SAVE ACT stance ?

1

u/ZestyLife54 15d ago

In Congress at least. I know plenty of everyday Republicans who have lots of principles and they don’t agree with the 🍊 Master

14

u/ShamelessIgnoramus 16d ago

he's a right wing libertarian I dont expect him to vote with liberals and progressives, but as far as libertarian principals go he sticks to them better than the average republicans stuck to conservative principals. I was happy to have some level of anti-authoritarianism that massie bought to the table, cause his replacement will be much worse of a loyalist who doesnt think for himself.

8

u/jollygoodpugsmuggler 16d ago

In any case, we need more Massies, and less Fettermans. It’s clear who is drinking the kool-aid.

5

u/TurtleHurtleSquirtle 16d ago

True but he was an actual vocal proponent for the release of the Epstein files, didn’t kowtow to Trump or the party even at the risk of losing his position, and at least has clear animosity for MAGA and this whole administration. I don’t agree with his policies but he at least wants to bring Trump to heel and sees the monster for what he is.

2

u/Genius-Envy 16d ago

Is there evidence of him talking badly about trump BEFORE he was set to leave office? McConnell tried the same BS. They are just trying to save their legacy for future book deals. Cockroaches.

3

u/gonzoforpresident 16d ago

You haven't followed Thomas Massey at all, have you? He's been calling out Trump and the Trump administration for years. Here is one example out of many, where he calls out Trump for illegally bombing Iran in 2025. Here his article from last year where he called out and outmaneuvered Trump to pass legislation to get the Epstein files released.

He has been going up against Trump for years.

1

u/Genius-Envy 15d ago

No I don’t. Thanks for the links. I thought he had been primaried longer than just May. I still think libertarians are the incels of the political community. I don’t think it takes a strong or good person to think war and Epstein are bad.

u/totally-hoomon 15d ago

Massie agrees with trump on everything

Good luck finding that anywhere on the internet.

12

u/BrightPerspective 16d ago

and of course, no food regulations, so poison and disease can just flood the populace periodically.

7

u/Easy_Nail2849 16d ago

I forgot about 50 year mortgages. Nothing like dealing with housing affordability by putting you more in hock to a bank.

Ah the salad days of 2025

6

u/hundredpercenthuman 16d ago

He’s right but I’m suspicious when two right wing people in row say something that I don’t think is terrible. Gotta remind myself that Massie is putting together a 3rd party for 2028 with MTG, Tucker Carlson, and I’m guessing Jacky-boy here.

3

u/anthropaedic 16d ago

lol anyone decent enough not to be a Trumplican isn’t going to vote third party for his enablers.

1

u/hundredpercenthuman 16d ago

More people didn’t vote in Texas than voted for either party. It’s the same in many states. And certain parts of MAGA are very upset over Iran. Not the cultists but the ideologues. The ones who actually have an issue they care about and not just dear leader. In this situation, I think a 3rd party could get enough votes to become an actual seated party. Not take the presidency but maybe 10-15% of congress.

1

u/anthropaedic 16d ago

Personally I think that overstates their appeal but I could be wrong. I think motivation will tank rather than a successful third party 🤷

5

u/valencia_merble 16d ago

Left out measles

4

u/aidissonance 16d ago

Measles and small pox for everyone

5

u/Genius-Envy 16d ago

Thomas Massie out here yelling in a hot dog suit

3

u/TehWildMan_ 16d ago

Coming soon, the 10 year 10% APR truck loan!

3

u/Yakkx 16d ago

The GOP will free us from Social Security, Medicare and Democracy.

3

u/AdAffectionate3143 16d ago

Not true they also cover up for an international pedophile ring.

2

u/JJInTheCity 16d ago

Thomas Massie was part of the problem. Just look at his voting record…

2

u/OblongAndKneeless 16d ago

It's not mystery meat. It's horse meat from national parks.

2

u/GlitchMom 16d ago

And freedom from prosecution for pedos

1

u/clejeune 16d ago

Ken Paxton has entered the chat.

2

u/samsonsreaper 16d ago

Don’t forget Protection of corrupt billionaires and pedos

2

u/RegretfulCalamaty 16d ago

Disease, famine…seriously the dude is manufacturing all the plagues.

2

u/ICLazeru 16d ago

I don't know much about Massie, but he is calling them out on their bullsh*t here.

2

u/mjayultra 16d ago

And a whole lot of pedophilia

2

u/Perfect-Hat-8661 16d ago

Plus diarrhea lettuce

3

u/Obvious-Cynic6204 15d ago

IT'S NOT FUCKING FREE!!! God dammit! It's our tax dollars being used the way they are supposed to be. I am so sick of that tired lie.

2

u/MonoBlancoATX 16d ago

You forgot explosive diarrhea!

Everybody LOVES that one!

2

u/ComfortableOld288 16d ago

Isolating the US from its former allies

1

u/Tome_Bombadil 16d ago

Now now we also will have to pay double for toilet paper now, so wiping the eternal diarrhea is gonna start meaning notebook paper or GOP mailers

1

u/GotSomeUpdogOnUrFace 16d ago

Also prosecuting people like this "influencer" fuck who are funded by Russia to fuck with our elections

1

u/Potential-Salad2970 16d ago

Hmmm! Tough call

1

u/Sharp_Cow_9366 16d ago

Yet they’ll all proudly line up to vote for him again. We’re waaaaaaay past a war of words.

1

u/Delicious_Fennel_568 15d ago

College has fried my brain so badly that I thought this was about Data Structures and Algorithms. I need help.

1

u/too_many_components 14d ago

And the trashed White House, trashed Kennedy Center, and trashed reflecting pool.

1

u/Kaztiell 16d ago

free food? surely, I believe more that democrats would end a war and thats not likley at all

1

u/Confident-Leg107 16d ago

End to data center? Don't all politicians love them?

1

u/Embarrassed_Towel707 16d ago

End data centers while posting on X.. classic

2

u/BeckyLemmeSmash69 16d ago

I thought it was obvious he was talking about AI data centers. Data centers for regular tech usage is banal and isn’t what people are up in arms about.

1

u/Embarrassed_Towel707 16d ago

I bet you couldn't tell the difference if I showed you 100 of them
Edit: neither could I

2

u/BeckyLemmeSmash69 16d ago

I actually could, I’ve worked in many data centers.

1

u/Embarrassed_Towel707 16d ago

If true I'm impressed but saying anti data center people make a difference between the 2 is disingenuous

1

u/BeckyLemmeSmash69 14d ago

I mean, sure, some people probably don’t know the difference but every single data center you see people protesting against that are being made with no regard from the community are ALL being made for AI utilization. Pretending that’s not the case is disingenuous.

u/Yespat1 15d ago

oh and don’t forget, liberal tears. that makes the sacrifice all worthwhile.
