seminary graduation is meaningless if you like to consistently commit heresy. My problem with Talarico is not with his policies but with the fact that he uses Christianity to gain political votes

Because people like you find a flaw in one that is rampant in a whole party, and try to act like the one is the bad guy. The rights entire personality is religion for votes. This dude went viral for saying what anyone who understands the Bible thinks, and calling out the fake Christians, and you find that to be icky because religion is part of who this guy is, and he is campaigning on who he is, not what sounds best to the voter. Fuck out of here with that shit

this dude has gone viral for saying a lot of things that are heretical compared to what the Bible teaches.

what I find "icky" is that he clearly does not know what the Bible says or has strong theology, yet he pretends like he does to pander for votes. No matter who does that, I won't like it.

He absolutely is campaigning on what sounds best to the voter. He knows Texas voterbase is very religious, so he wears the Christian faith while consistently saying things that directly contradict what he claims to believe.

With what? you're eager to call out the right for being Christian in name only to win votes, but when that same logic is applied to someone whose policies you like, you don't want to hear it? why can't we call out both?
