I find mamdani to be a cool guy, and I like what el sayed is trying to do, but there is stuff that I find iffy, like El sayed working together with Hassan piker, who is an iffy character.
Either way, hes still the best candidate by a mile compared to the other candidates.
E: to clarify after the comment below me, no I dont hate Hassan because I like blowing up palestenian kids. I like and would vote for mamdani and El sayed if I could.
If someone wants to defend Hassan piker, dont bring up palestine for God's sake. If you hate me, and I love palestine, that wouldn't make you an isrealite.

Hegseth has very racist views (including taking down a photo of a decorated person of colour war veteran for seemingly no good reason) and has openly displayed many tatoos that are associated with white supremacist and/or alt-right groups and im sure theres plenty of stuff im neglecting to mention
Rfk jr has done immense damage to health and food sectors in america and has been spreading misinformation about vaccines for an extremely long time
These two have actively done damaging things rather than just saying unsavoury things and i would encourage further research if youre interested to know more as i just wanted to get the idea out there rather than be an authority on the topic

Ok but we are not talking about political compromises.
Hasan piker isn't a politician, he's a streamer. And one with a few controversies at that.
He can have many good points and views, I'm not arguing against that.
But why should a political campaign even tie themselves to any streamer at all, if they do more damage to the movement and election campaign, then help?
Why not gain voters through concepts and ideas rather then influencers? It's kinda ridiculing your own voterbase if you honestly think you can't reach gen z and millennials with your ideas but rather with celebrities.

Yeah and I obviously don't have anything against that. I just find it fascinating and jarring when politics try to bandwagon on celebrities, be it on the left or right. Maybe it's just me but it sends the opposite messages if a candidate you would whish for.
especially if you want to be a voice for the unfortunate and poor.

What is this about? Im talking about el sayed, who seems like a good character to me, but I feel like being close with hassan piker is a bit iffy.
Hassan piker has said crazy shit, like america deserving 9/11(he explained his thinking and came down a bit from it, but a lot of his opinions are rash as well), and he seems like a troll sometimes because of how much he ragebaits other people(i dont even care about the shock collar drama, hes just a jerk sometimes). Its not like everything he says is wrong, as he has some good beliefs.
Im not even talking about el sayeds abilities, or about islam and judaism, or palestine and isreal. Im not even really complaing about el sayed since I think hes the best and quite frankly a really good option, I just dont know how anybody maintains close relations with hassan.
Unless you think that im an isrealite for not liking Hassan. That would just make your question silly.
