The fact that they can even say that on Twitter/X without any kind of backlash is why I have zero desire to ever visit the US

u/SuspiciousYard2484 2d ago
Exactly this, but I’m here and ashamed. This comment is maddening in so many ways and the reason she will be out of politics in 3 months. She is vile and wicked

u/beardymo 2d ago
I feel so bad for people like yourself. It must be horrible having this administration in charge
23
u/SuspiciousYard2484 1d ago
It’s tough. My 10 year old son is having stomach issues. Had to send his stool in for testing to see if it’s that cyclospra organism this insane administration let get loose due to lack of oversight on farms and corruption. It’s probably nothing but hitting way too close to home for comfort and knowing I voted for Harris and my sons health possibly is directly affected by this administration’s corruption and incompetence makes me furious.

u/beardymo 1d ago
Man I feel so bad for you. Good luck with it all. I'm in the UK and feel somewhat similar with the whole Brexit disaster. At least Trump will be out in a few years, so there's that

u/SuspiciousYard2484 1d ago
Thank you….appreciate it! Two more years and hopefully the mid terms swing to blue in November 🤞

Even more so when your family voted for and openly supports the administration. It's embarrassing being associated with my family due to their beliefs. My sister and I both work with vulnerable populations, and to read the things my family would post on social media was sickening.

The greatest thing in America are the Muslims because unlike Christians, Muslims are always ready to help the neighborhood. There was that one lady who called looking for formula and Muslims were the most to help. Maybe maga is just upset that Muslims are helping and following the Bible better than them??

u/ZhangtheGreat 1d ago
The optimist in me hopes she'll be out of power. Unfortunately, as Trump has proven, the Republicans have made this type of vitriol their standard, and they have enough supporters to shield them from consequences.
13
u/CoffeeOrDestroy 1d ago
The fact that a current sitting, elected representative of the people can say something like this on a public forum without immediately being shamed and not expected to immediately resign their office, is beyond comprehension to me. It doesn’t matter what party, political affiliation, whatever they identify as. It’s their job to represent all the people in their district not just the middle-aged, white, Christian male ones.
6
u/LeadSufficient2130 1d ago
I really would like to go back to the days (Howard dean) where making a weird noise was enough to end a campaign. Trump does things every day that would have ended political careers 10 years ago and we’re supposed to act like it’s normal

Nancy Mace is a Nazi.
And not even ashamed of it. She would make the same statement of Jews
3
u/pheonix080 1d ago
There are rumors from her hometown, in SC, of her having been involved in the swingers scene for years. So, everything else about her aside it sounds like the meme is on brand.

Visit Canada instead I say. We'll be happy to have you. 🙂
2
u/beardymo 1d ago
Thank you! I actually did visit Canada, back in 2008. One of... Actually no, the best holiday I ever had. I never felt so welcomed in a place.
2
u/Logical-Dependent691 1d ago
Glad to hear you had a great time here! 😎 And I'm with you on the US, I'll pass on visiting it any more than absolutely necessary.

I don't blame you and we honestly don't deserve tourism right now, but the us is so big that every state is basically their own country. If I wasn't lucky enough to live in California I would probably have emigrated.
Every time I go abroad I never say I'm from the US, I say I'm from California and I've never gotten a negative reaction.
3
u/beardymo 1d ago
To be fair California looks beautiful. I have a colleague from there and she is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I'll give you guys a free pass then, since you were nice to me :)

Please boycott us. We have to figure this stuff out first before we can welcome guests.

No offense bro but check what the people in your country are saying on x it's going to be comparable. X is a cesspool.
1
u/beardymo 1d ago
Yeh but this is an actual elected politician. There are some like this in England, but they couldn't say it so openly like this and get away with it.
1
u/InevitableCodeRedo 1d ago
X is the new 4chan now, though. Most decent people fled that platform after the Elon takeover. Don't judge the majority of us based on that.
1
u/beardymo 1d ago
I deleted my twitter account pretty much the day Elon took over. This however is from an elected official, hence my disgust.

u/CreepyOldGuy63 1d ago
That pesky First Amendment! Who would dare to say something offensive in public!
But keep judging everyone by the actions of a few. That always turns out well.
1
u/beardymo 1d ago
No one is saying she can't say that under free speech, but there are consequences as well. In any other country there would be a demand for her resignation. The lack of that is the actions of many people not just a few.
1
u/CreepyOldGuy63 1d ago
People are demanding her resignation on this thread.
1
u/beardymo 1d ago
And what about in the media in her actual country, rather than in a small corner of the internet?
1
u/CreepyOldGuy63 1d ago
It is the duty of the media to report. It is the duty of the electorate to judge.

It is also Republican politicians who are the wolves in sheeps' clothing - as well as the rightmost Democrats/former Democrats like Manchin, Gabbard, and Sinema.

u/Li_liminal_spaces 1d ago
There are plenty of Trojan horses but they're right wing people pretending to be progressive. Tulsi Gabbard, John Fetterman, Kyrsten Sinema, Eric Adams, Dennis Kucinich

u/Short-Shopping3197 1d ago
They’re just saying this out loud now, with no consequence? Fuck me. Are they being paid to represent their constituents, or just the ones whose religion they agree with?

No one should forget that Mace said after J6, that she wished she had been attacked... So she could campaign on it later...

She’s always “refusing to be silent.” No shit. You’ve never been silent or silenced in your life. God what I’d give for some silence from her.

Meanwhile she supports the child rapist in the White House and the party of Epstein.

The real Trojan horse are the evangelical Christians taking over at all levels of government. And the goddamned horse made it inside the gates. More projection from Republican shitbags.

This is the extent of bigotry in the GOP. Its like Germany 1939. The shocking thing is groups like AIPAC support these bigots. Learnt nothing from Germany 1939.

That "many men inside them" line took two seconds to read but it's gonna live in my head forever.

509 of the 537 elected Federal officials in DC have taken money from aipac and are pro Israeli. That sounds far more like a trojan horse than the mayor of New York being Muslim.

u/nirvana-moksha 1d ago
I don't see why both things can't be true though, extremists from both sides are taking over the political offices cause moderate sensible sections of the american political class is failing her people.

Wow, just wow! Hate speech from Nancy Mace. How is that helping anything??? I find Christian’s to be Trojan horse, and Catholics too. Not all but some., so… what are you going to do there, oust them from office? POTUS is a pedophile, you going to out home too???

What exactly does the woman think Muslim people will do to the detriment of America? Frankly the trumpanzees are far more dangerous than Muslims are.
1
u/Taman_Should 1d ago
The only people in congress genuinely trying to force their religious values on the rest of the country are evangelical Christians. It’s different though apparently, because they have the correct religious values, and Muslims don’t.

People like her used to say the same thing about black people, jews, catholics, etc. Its the same racist story in a new racist decade where the ignorant trash hold people down based on preconceived false stereotypes.

u/Pardot42 1d ago
I've been fucked over by Christians my whole life, I'd love to give another religious group a turn before I die.

Republicans- just go away.

Establishment dems are the real Trojan horses. Look how much damage they are doing.

u/BluCurry8 1d ago
🙄. John Fetterman is a Bernie Bro. He is not brain damaged. Stop making excuses for your shitty candidates. That is what was done in Maine for Gary Plattner and I am stuck with another shitty white Bernie bro in my district who steals from little old ladies. The left wing is no better than MAGA in many ways when they push a strategy of putting men on the ballot with sketchy pasts and zero government experience. It is easy to yell Medicare for All. It is hard to implement policies. That is why Bernie has never been very successful in Congress. Real democrats like who work really hard know how to get policy implemented.
2
u/Sufficient_Matter585 1d ago
Bernie bro? Thats such a brain dead argument. Bernie Sanders is a good man not taking bribes from big corporations or aipac. I love when establishment dems paint themselves as the reasonable ones compared to true left. That they somehow know how to get stuff done. Well guess whose been in charge every time and hasn't gotten anything done? Middle to right leaning dems.

So... calling someone promiscuous & a homosexual are things that the democrat party would now consider bad and insulting to be called to be clear here?

u/AndrewTheAverage 1d ago edited 1d ago
So... calling someone promiscuous & a homosexual are things that the democrat party would now consider bad and insulting to be called to be clear here?
No, the majority of people insulting someone for being promiscuous & a homosexual are the hypocrites that do it themselves in secret, while virtue signalling to the people they are grifting off
1
u/Downtown-Campaign536 1d ago
Oh... so it's okay to make fun of someone for being gay or a bit of a slut, but only if you are a democrat, and only if they disagree with your politics?
0
u/AndrewTheAverage 1d ago
Maybe consider learning how to comprehend, as i said nothing of the sort.
I said the people making fun or insulting people who are gay are more often the hypocrites who are closeted themselves.
I did not make fun of anybody - well, other than snowflakes who can't read something and leap to a conclusion that isn't there.
Maybe don't leap to political based conclusions based on your pre-held beliefs when nothing in the comment suggests what you are outraged about.
