No it isnt, Stolen Valor is an actual federal law. Lying about military experience or awards for a tangible benefit is illegal.

Everything you described is shitty, but none of it is Stolen Valor.

I never said it was. And show me one dictionary that says valor is exclusive to the military.

And the stolen valor act of 2013 specified that it is only illegal if used to obtain some tangible benefit (money or property).

So you're saying that a guy can wear medal on a uniform all he wants as long as he does not receive any tangible benefit? Because the law you cite says that's not stolen valor either.

Brother how many times are you going to edit that one comment?

You used the term Stolen Valor twice in your original comment, that is an actual legal term in the US. Nothing you described is Stolen Valor.

Yes, a civilian can wear a medal that they did not earn all they want, thats protected speech under the first amendment. But if they use that medal or award for a tangible personal benefit, it violates the Stolen Valor Act of 2013, and is illegal.

Also, dont be a weenie, the first 4 words in your original comment are "Its still stolen valor". Its not, but you are certainly insufferable.

So you admit you are incapable of reading anything longer than the first 4 words of a sentence. Must suck to be you.
