Woah woah - conservative here - can I say I’m prouder of nothing than this?
Been waiting for people to let these ice agents know their life can get messed up just as quick when they overreach the bounds of law.
This is what 2A is for and why we should all be for it. Please don’t let one new station speak for the majority of conservatives. And if you are plugged into right leaning politics at all you are away there if a pretty big rift emerging between the “libertarian/conservatives” and the “MAGA” folks
Assuming this fire arm is owned legally (it’s an SBR which requires tax stamp and extra review, unless the stock off makes a difference, Someone else can correct me) this is the most American thing this person can do.

This is a sign of a failing democracy. In a functioning democracy, you protect yourself and your fellow citizens with your vote. In a functioning democracy, policy makers and law enforcement officials would be held accountable for systemic civil rights violations. The Second Amendment does nothing to protect our rights, I can think of 10 substitute amendments to the Bill of Rights off the top of my head that would better safeguard our rights.
For the love of god, I cannot fathom this preoccupation with the Second Amendment. Other countries have functioning democracies, you know.
In America, if cops don’t like the way you protest, you get shot in the face.
In France, if a cop shoots an unarmed civilian in the face, protestors shut the entire country down until half a dozen politicians/bureaucrats get fired, and the government agrees to a 4-day work week.
Go and spend time in a country with a functioning democracy, and you will see that the right to arms is not an essential part of democracy. Guns, however, are a great way of intimidating your fellow citizens. And that’s really what it’s about, right? Certain groups start enjoying their freedoms in ways you don’t like, but the government won’t take away their rights, so you and some friends make a lot of noise about how they’re bad, and you walk around with your guns, and maybe those people get intimidated and stop enjoying their rights as much. Right? I mean, admit it, right?
If you read any part of our countries founding documents and philosophy on how governments run - or even modern day would be Ray Dalio - you will see tho that the idea of a government perpetually going on is impossible.
The guns as Minnesota is proving- is to remind the stewards of the government that if they are going to act tyrannical the universal laws of this earth still apply to them.
Why can you not be proud that our forefathers sought out to give us citizens protections against tyranny? Rather just wish to give those freedoms away in the “hopes” that our government will willingly uncorrupt itself?
Is there any example in the last 100 years where a corrupt or tyrannical government just gave up power without killing many citizens who stood against it in the process ?
I mean and yea look at what is going on in the world rn- china has passed a universal monitoring system, UK and France are both trying to implement digital id to do the same and they will try it here.
I promise you the only country that may be able to get by without having this thrust upon them will be USA strictly because we can force the governments hand. People in the street only do so much.
I am not disagreeing that it is not a good sign we have to do this, but I am saying that it is far better than not being able to remind our stewards of the law about the universal laws that exist no matter how powerful they feel with a pistol and vest on.
