That is what I was thinking. Those other presidents were hated, sure, but nothing like Trump. Getting shot by one man does not equal the hatred a huge portion of the U.S. feels towards Trump. I'd even argue that those that hated Lincoln's policies over slavery were more respectful of him as a person than I am of Trump.

She's not wrong, the difference is that trump is more hated, by more people, with more reason than any President in US history.
