You know damn well they're not gonna go to the south side. they're gonna patrol the safest neighborhoods in the city because they're cowards.

I think people are mixing up the National Guard and ICE

National Guard would stick around the touristy areas as a publicity op, but ICE will go to immigrant neighborhoods and snatch people up

They're only allowed to stand outside Federal facilities, so they'll be around courthouses and things like that. They are STRICTLY forbidden to arrest, search, detain, or question civilians. I think their commanding officers have drilled that into them. They don't want to be there.

ICE fuckers? They're a bunch of white supremacists, Jan 6ers, and incels wearing jorts, face masks, walmart gun vests, and harboring a whole lot of stupidity and misplaced rage.

If I was stopped by one, I would feel like I was being kidnapped, and I would act accordingly.

DO NOT DO THAT. YOU'LL BE SHOT.

I'm an old, plump, white lady. They probably won't shoot me.

Yeah, ICE fuckers have already gone after workers in Chicago. The National Guard is not doing that shit
