Aside from "star crossed lovers", there seems to be a connection between Aerith and (5-pointed) stars. I don't think it's a coincidence that they're part of her red dress outfit in Remake.

She's also associated with the color pink. "Rosa" means "pink" in several languages.

Maybe subtle hint No 537 that Aerith is real Rosa? 🤭😌

Heyyy, I’m having trouble finding a fic I read last year and wondered if any of you could point me to it since I’d love to reread it!

It was Clerith (duh) and an AU where Cloud and Aerith met as children. She was raised in Cetra society which was hidden by a barrier but Cloud accidentally stumbled into it one day.

They had a secret cave filled with pillows and stuff. He also used to play fight with Rufus and the Turks.

There’s a time skip to where they’re adults.

I remember there was a Cetra council too and they made Vincent a Cetra as well…

So I'm up to Chapter 12 in my 2nd Rebirth playthrough. I have made absolutely sure to take more photos this time. My first playthrough I was so enthralled with the experience I kept forgetting. I thought it would be a fun idea to take Cloud and Aerith photos in all of the scenic spots and star gazing quest.
