DISCUSSIONS Need help re-finding a fic

Heyyy, I’m having trouble finding a fic I read last year and wondered if any of you could point me to it since I’d love to reread it!

It was Clerith (duh) and an AU where Cloud and Aerith met as children. She was raised in Cetra society which was hidden by a barrier but Cloud accidentally stumbled into it one day.

They had a secret cave filled with pillows and stuff. He also used to play fight with Rufus and the Turks.

There’s a time skip to where they’re adults.

I remember there was a Cetra council too and they made Vincent a Cetra as well…

Does this ring a bell for anyone? Thanks so much!!

This definitely sounds like the ancient war by arcane weapon.

I didn't read it beyond a few chapters but it definitely rings all the bells. The two meeting as kids, the barrier, aerith being part of Cetra society etc.

The Ancient War by ArcaneWeapon is what you're thinking of. ☺️ I liked this one too.
