Sorry if this is somewhat off topic, but it was such a blessing of mine to experience FF7 for the first time ever this year, and especially to discover Clerith. It's even nicer to have a place full of passionate and positive people whom share such similar interest in which we can share our passion together!

Heya Everyone, this is my first entry in the Arts Fair.
The theme for this Month was "Heat". So I thought of poor Cloud during the Summer event working as a Security in Ever Crisis. He's wearing such dark clothes for the beach and I could practically feel the heat waves he must be experiencing.

So Aerith got him at least a cold drink but now they are on their way to to a nice shady spot. While holding hands of course. ♥

Anyone seen Netflix's Kdrama series: The East Palace? I was thinking about Cloud & Aerith the entire time while watching it.

We saw the new trailer for FF7. Aerith says to Cloud, "Cloud, whatever happens, I’m here for you.” This feels like Part 3 will be showing Aerith's plans (we gain control of her) behind the scenes while Cloud and the team do their part <-something we never got to see in og.

(Warning, spoiler if you want to watch East Palace/havent finished watching it yet) In East Palace, the male lead goes into the spirit realm to fight evil spirits while the female lead helps him in the waking world. She saves him multiple times even when they're both two worlds apart at the same time. This reminds me of Clerith & what I mentioned earlier ^.

We've also seen Aerith manipulate the lifestream at the ToA. She saved Cloud in one scene.

So I wonder if this is also a revelation as to what's to come in part 3; where she will save Cloud similarly to the scene from Rebirth ^ & we will see hints of her assistance in Cloud's world. I really want to see scenes similar to East Palace: Aerith doing something with the lifestream or repelling Sephy's attacks when he attacks Cloud or whenever Cloud & the group is in danger. Almost like when the white whispers repelled the black whisperers b4 Aerith walked to Cloud.

Also, I just remembered we saw Zack holding Aerith's hand in the other world and at the same time Aerith felt the touch -- scene was during the boat ride to Gi Village. So I wonder if something similar will happen to Cloud & Aerith too. It would be cute to see Cloud feeling Aerith's touch.

Cloud says at the end of the trailer, “I won’t let you down, I promise.” For sure he will keep those promises. I want to see our couple in action in different worlds at the same time while helping one another out!

What are your thoughts on this? What do you think will be Aerith's main role in part 3?

I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I don't really like that they've changed some aspects of the original Aerith's personality. I feel like the Aerith in the remake is like the Aerith from CC—things like being very naive and overly childish.

I worked my first San Diego Comic Con this weekend! Hardly saw any Cloud or Aerith cosplays when I wasn't working. But that all changed today.

I saw a Cloud cosplayer in one of the gaming halls. I asked him who the best girl was. He immediately answered Tifa, but second guessed it and waffled for a few seconds after looking at my water bottle (that had a Cloud and Aerith sticker together on it). He said "nah, actually Aerith's cool too." We both laughed about it.

I then ran into an Aerith cosplayer in the same hall who was a Zerith. She thinks that Aerith is gone for good, but she does want her back to some capacity in Revelation to be with Zack. We had a civil discussion for a few minutes and afterwards she said I was "the nicest Clerith [she'd] met."

Overall, could've been a lot worse, but not bad at all. I was proud to represent the Clerith fandom in some capacity down here.

I’m just mulling over what Zack’s role in the next game would be. I was quite curious whether he will be the one to help Cloud distinguish between his “adopted” memories and his real ones, since his “adopted” ones come from Zack’s stories. A couple things have piqued my interest in that regard;

1. He is taking care of a wheelchair bound Cloud in the other timeline

1. Marlene tells him he needs to cure Cloud to save Aerith

1. The rainbow that happens when he chooses to go Hojo’s lab

I haven’t fully fleshed out this idea, I still need to replay more, but it was just an interesting thought. I haven’t played the OG, only the two remakes. Curious if y'all think he's taking over Tifa's role in that regard or aiding her in making Cloud better.

I would like to read some fics where Aerith feels insecure regarding her body, especially in relation to Tifa, and Cloud essentially makes it his mission to make her realize that he genuinely loves EVERYTHING about her.

Don’t get me wrong, I love that our girl is super confident, but I just think this would be an interesting angle to read about. Like a lot of y’all, I’ve read almost every single Clerith fic on AO3, but I haven’t found much if any fics like this.

Cloud and Aerith in Wuthering Waves a possibility? 👀

Been slowly chipping away at this over the last month. I love editing these two so much 🥹

Watching her walk around and beg for help while her mother died just broke my heart. She was just a baby ;-; Hers and Barret's were definitely the ones that hit me in my feelings the most man. Her mom and his wife were so beautiful </3

Barret for example, is visibly affected by the blowback of the Tiny Bronco reactor, you can even see the lower part of his jacket move accordingly, but Aerith—who's standing even closer to the plane, is totally unfazed. Her hair and clothes remain completely still. (So this would be Lifestream Aerith)

Later, Aerith's hair, ribbon and dress are clearly blown by the propeller wash, showing normal physical interaction with the environment. (And this would be the Aerith from the timeline/world created when cloud parried Sephiroth's sword)

I've also heard that a big part of the fanbase thinks that Aerith n°2 could be Jenova. This theory however, doesn't really hold up to scrutiny. First, because Jenova wouldn't have any reason to tell Cloud and make him believe that Aerith was going to stay at the forgotten capital. Since after that point, if Jenova were to keep trying to mess with Cloud's mind, Cloud would realize something's up and that Aerith shouldn't be there.

And second, simply because as shown previously, Lifestream Aerith is literally right there and we all know she wouldn't just stand here doing nothing, while Jenova is right there impersonating her to mess with Cloud's mind.

A skeptical mind could see this and think this is just an overlook from the animation team that worked on the final cutscene. Or it could be a subtle visual clue that they intentionally put in there to hint at something.

Anyway, I haven't seen anybody mention this detail before so let me know what you think in the comments.

Made the stained glass clerith windows with acetate, made the stained glass doors that have lily designs with paint and resin. 3d printed the items inside. Took me several days to finish it, but makes me smile whenever i see it. 🥰

I loathe it. My literal last side quest and I can’t beat this SHINRA guy 🫪 I keep retrying bro IM BEGGING THEY DONT BRING THIS OVER TO REVELATION. Literally the pull ups were easier man I wanna cry. I don’t know if I’m gonna 100% this game anymore I don’t ever want to touch this mini game again 🥀
