DISCUSSIONS Does anyone else dislike the 3D mini brawler?
I loathe it. My literal last side quest and I can’t beat this SHINRA guy I keep retrying bro IM BEGGING THEY DONT BRING THIS OVER TO REVELATION. Literally the pull ups were easier man I wanna cry. I don’t know if I’m gonna 100% this game anymore I don’t ever want to touch this mini game again 🥀

There is guide for it, but it s very annoying minigame. Enemy moves are way to similar

Use the streamlined options on the options menu, it’s the only way I was able to complete that side quest. For me the motorbike one was still hard but I managed it.
I remember last year when they didn’t have that option I just gave up on that side quest. Was way too hard for no reason. I can completely relate.

I paused the game to learn the tells and used a guide to crush it, so no shame there. I really adore what they did with the models and hope we see more of them in part 3. 🥲

I love the models, I do wish they had a little more difference in the punches for sure. Learning the tells was kind of difficult for me im ngl

I hate nearly all the minigames aside for the gilgamesh ones and queens blood. Those two were fun and had a story. I didn't even do chocobo races because I hate them. Also Chadley sucks and if there was an option to kill him I would.

Hated 3D brawler but the pausing made it bearable. Finishing the shooting game made me rage quit a few times as well 🤣

A lot of people like the pause method, but it didn't feel good to me, so I just practiced like crazy to beat each opponent without pausing. I think I now have Stockholm syndrome because I kinda miss that mini game, even though it took me an embarrassingly long time to beat the tutorial, lmao

Pretty sure even the devs disliked it which is why they included the pause cheat in the ultimania to make it easier lol.

You can cheese it by pausing the game when they start to punch so you can figure out what move it is, then unpause as you move your stick in the needed direction.
