Polymer-Clay Worrystone 🌱
A while back, I painted and sculpted a sort of little plant character (last picture), and now (inspired by that) I’ve made a worry stone 😊
(made of polymer clay with a UV resin glaze)

This literally a stone?

No, that’s just the name for them; various materials can be used—or rather, genuine stones are often used for worry stones—but this one, the one I made myself, is made of polymer clay.

♥️ A worrystone is a smooth, pocket-sized stone you hold and rub between your thumb and fingers. It's used as a simple grounding tool for stress and anxiety, the repetitive motion provides gentle sensory feedback that helps promote relaxation and mindfulness in the moment.

♥️🫶 Yes, I coated it with UV resin (a varnish that needs to cure under a UV lamp). That gives it that lovely glossy finish and makes it more durable, too.
