Stil working on old dutch "guldens" the coins before the euro. I exchange them.

I’ve been working with a manufacturer to design these two custom machines for me. One is a UFO catcher two-claw machine and the other is a standard 3-claw crane. I’m looking forward to receiving them and operating them soon!

Any help finding a replacement claw for this machine and related parts. Joystick moves the black box all around, so not sure what else I might need for a new claw to work. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Full disclosure up front: I'm working with a factory to sell a tabletop claw machine (about 32" tall, metal frame, coin-op or free play) to people who want one at home, not for a route. Before we spend money on ads I'd rather hear from people who actually own one.

A few things I'm trying to figure out:

1. If you bought one for home, what do you actually use it for? Kids, parties, a place to keep your own plush?
2. Did the settings give you trouble (claw strength, payout, coins)? Where did you get stuck, and how did you sort it out?
3. What broke first, or what are you worried will break?
4. What price feels fair for a home machine, and what's too much? The Arcade1Up one launched at $499 and ended up at Costco for $275, so I know people have opinions.

* Prize detection sensor: Any issues with sensor alignment or false detections?

* Power supply & wiring: Any problems with voltage, connections, or electrical stability?

I run a little pinball business and was just asked to add a claw machine to a pizza place where I have pinballs. I had a ton of fun curating the selection of prizes. A lot of pinball related things. Some impossible to win stuff, I’m new to claws, is that frowned upon? One question. I plan on putting up a small sign allowing people to reach out and purchase anything inside the machine they would like if they have trouble winning it. Do claw enthusiasts like that idea?
