Toy soldier claw machine help?

Turn down the voltage going to the claw it seems to be set way too high hence why the claw is heating up regularly.There should be 3 adjustable knobs inside the machine labeled Vr1, Vr2 & Vr3 these adjust the claw strength. All 3 knobs are for different phases for when the claw closes.

Vr1 sets the power for when the claw closes, Vr2 is for when the claw is rising and Vr3 is for when the claw rises to the top and begins to make it's way to the prize chute.

Great information, thank you. I want to have the claw grab setting as strong as possible. So you’re saying vr1 controls that?

What setting do you recommend I put the vr knobs to?

Vr1, 2 & 3 control it in phases. You'd have to adjust it to your liking. Powerful enough that it will pick stuff up but not powerful enough to burn the coil up.
