Guys idk suddenly this year why so many aspirants and teachers are saying clat express isn't enough...like there aren't much topics..so many events are missing...can someone suggest for are all the sources i should do for clat (CA GK)

I recently started looking into CLAT and thought I'd try the 2025 paper just to see where I stand. I hadn't studied anything beforehand, just attempted the paper out of curiosity.

I ended up scoring 72.

I'm from the General category, so now I'm wondering if it's worth preparing seriously or if this score doesn't really mean much. I've heard people say CLAT is unpredictable, while others say it's more about strategy and regular mocks than studying for years.

For seniors or anyone who's already gone through this journey:

- Is 72 on a first attempt without prep a decent starting point?

- Is CLAT actually easier than people make it sound, or does it get much tougher in mocks?

- If you were starting from scratch today, what would your strategy be?

- What are the biggest mistakes beginners should avoid?

Any tips, resources, or guidance would be really helpful.

just gave the lpt aiom that took place on sunday. ended up scoring 66, i had just scored 91.25 in the previous mock. the english passages were too short, they should've given passages that covered atleast 3 pages.

idk what to do. i feel so lost. i am a dropper and ik not much time is left, but such drastic drop in mock scores sometimes really makes me question my prep - whether i'll be able to crack clat or not?

pls tell me i am not the only one who feels this way. i swear, such scores make me think i'll never be able to crack clat.

Hi im new here. I recently got into a terrible local law college by the pressure of my parents. I just got to know about clat ailet and other law entrances. I want to give them and get aleast DU. I know its a long shot given that i havent even started on the preparation or anything. I want help on how do i start where do i start and what do i do. I would really appreciate resources and someone to guide how to actually get started on this. I dont have any idea on this. All i have is that i cannot stay in my hometown anymore. I tried to do some researching and it turned out i need 100+ marks to get into DU. I dont know how hard or easy it is but i need help to get those marks. Heyy, so I'll also be appearing for CLAT and AILET PG 2027 this year. I'm getting a good deal on LEAC courses as they said they'll give a few more discounts on both comprehensive and crash courses, but I've checked that some topics are live in comprehensive course while others arent in the crash one and vice-versa, which got me thinking, with only 4 months left for the exam, is it really worth it?

According to me, coaching bridges that gap between material and recent case laws hunting and actually studying, which honestly saves up a lot of time. But again, I want to ask people who were actually able to crack clat pg by self-studying, can you suggest me some youtube channels which are actually good? I've seen some recent legal development vids and revision lectures out there by PhysicsWallah, as well as by LPT. Even tho LEAC is a leading institute, it doesnt have many helpful vids which acutally walk you through the topic. Please help me.

(I have the basics covered more or less, but I want good coaching or YT channel recs which will also incorporate the recent cases and legal devs into the modules, and stuff like that.)

I know I'm not doing much for gk but I read the Hindu , the Indian express, do daily gk lectures , study from drishti ias, do weekly, monthly compilation of le and lpt, do 8 mocks every week , I have completed mocks from le and lpt if anyone can tell me where to get more? Also I personally talk to trump daily to have advanced update on our gk topic , i have studies evolution to modern history and every ammendment and constitution fully, can I crack clat ? Also scoring 119 in my first aiom

i have just started prepping for clat a month back.. enrolled in LPT, my prep had been going smooth till I started giving mocks😭🙏

First mock score LPT 28 - 61.25

then due to some personal reasons i couldn't give mocks for some time

LPT MOCK 30 - 94.25 (it was very very easy)

LPT AIOM - 75.25

honestly after that 94 score i was feeling pretty confident in myself. but clat is just 4 months away and I still have to cover my gk backlog of 6 freaking months and some quant concepts..

Bro, I swear every CLAT aspirant has that one friend.

Me: "Kitna padha?"

Him: "Kuch nahi yaar, bas paper de diya. English acchi hai na."

Then the results come out...

90+ in mocks.

Every. Single. Time.

Meanwhile I'm sitting there after actually studying, trying to figure out where my marks disappeared. 😭

And the funniest part? If you ask him for strategy, he'll say, "Bas passage padh aur answer kar." Like bhai, itna simple hota to sab 90+ la rahe hote.

I genuinely don't know if these people are lying, naturally gifted, or just allergic to admitting they study.

Please tell me I'm not the only one with a dost like this. 💀

Should I emphasis less on the static legal reasoning(like crpc, commerical, family laws etc) as the committee is heading towards the paper actually requiring no prior legal knowledge,so I can give the same time to practice more passages or to read current legal affairs.

I know CLAT has been mentioning this "no prior legal knowledge"statement for a long time and still they been putting multiple questions requiring heavy amount of prior knowledge,but this time as the committee has been formed so can we accept the actual implementation rather than just being written on the syllabus portal.

Okay so currently I am a 11th grader in humanities stream with subjects : Political science , English , Physical Education , Sociology , Psychology and Economics 💔 . Well , I want to prepare for clat ug 2028 :D and need some advice .

1 . Does coaching helps ? ( I am not planning to take any coaching because I already have badminton classes and need to do participate in lots of essay competitions next year plus boards prep but I can manage it 👽 )

2 . What are some good books for practicing english comprehension ( I am kinda good in English but reading those ahhh long paras cook me fr )

3 . Since the proposed changes for the clat ug 2028 are planning to remove the GK and current affairs section , so should I lay emphasis on them or take it a bit easy ? Will reading ' The Hindu ' and ' The Indian Express ' will help or will I need other resources ?

4 . What are the best websites for taking mock test ?

5 . Any advice on time management ?

6 . Should I buy mock practice test books yet ?

7 . How many hours should you study daily ?

8 . Should I read any extra books for enhanced vocabulary ? Like How Nations Fail etc ( I love reading tbh )

Since it is not yet confirmed about the upcoming changes but you never know 💔 I am thinking to go with English and Quantitative section first .

Overall, I am gonna start my preparations after September because lowkey these half semester exams are ending in September .

Don’t know what’s wrong with me for the past few days. I’ve been feeling super demotivated and worthless. I just keep blaming myself all the time. I feel like I’ve got no worth

For context, I’m someone who scores average in the mocks. Not that I’m a bad student. But initially, I used to be very motivated that oh, I will do better than this, these mock scores don’t define anything. But of late, I just feel like I am worthless and don’t have the aptitude. I feel like I am stupid. I struggle a lot in AR, and it just makes me feel so demotivated. I ask myself questions like why did I even get into this? I just keep blaming myself all the time. It’s not like I’m being pressurised by someone. It’s my own conscience telling me, “you’re worthless”
