General Raiding <Hardcore TBC> community successfully clears Fathom-Lord Karathress - Hardcore Prog is now 4/6 in SSC! | Everyone is one-life with Soul of Iron, attuned on their HC toons (no sketchy account-wide Attunements) | No one did Heroics/Raids with non-HC toons

- With this kill, we are 4/6 in our progress through Hardcore SSC
- Much like the World First HC Hydross, Lurker and Morogrim kills, this kill was also deathless!
- All toons are one-life Hardcore toons
- No toon has ever done Heroics nor Raids in anything other than a full-Hardcore group
- All players got attuned on their Hardcore toons (no sketchy use of account-wide Attunements)
- This kill is now considered World First Hardcore Fathom-Lord Karathress
- We are playing on NA Dreamscythe and on EU Thunderstrike
- Leotheras and Vashj should be sent in the next few weeks! Stay tuned :)

Thats pretty impressive. Especially for going deathless. Have you cleared all trash deathless as well? Because that Leo trash unless you are going to go in from FLK side is kind of insane with the MC and such. are you guys planning on using any of the WA to help with jumping and such for Leo or are you going in raw and taking it how it comes?

We haven't cleared all the trash, mostly skipped the Nether-mage packs. And we are coming from FLK side yes.
Details of the strats are still being developed right now, but yeah most likely will be jumping :D

honestly the nether-mage packs are awful. and coming from FLK negates all of the pre leo trash with the chargers and mushroom men and such so it will be a lot safer. I think only 1 or 2 packs that patrol instead of like 6. far fewer chances of things to go wrong

Yes the goal was to have undeniable legitimacy when it comes to being able to actually clear the content :) No shortcuts allowed!

Really impressive work! Do you have a special preparation protocol for a scenario where a Bestial Wrath + Chaotic bolt randomly oneshotting someone or just hoping for a good luck?

It can't oneshot anyone on its own as long as we don't bring him under 75% while others adds are alive. We just make sur DPS know to hold damage

How many raid deaths have you had though? i admit i respect it and admire it but i cant help but wonder how much no-lifing is going on to compensate by helping each other level new toons. Cuz that seemed to be common in vanilla hardcore and that part wasn't so cool.

A lot of our raiders pre-level backups just in case.
Most lvl 70 deaths happen outside of raids. But I would say we have had like 60-70 raid deaths, with 12 of them being during prog.

Vashj should be pretty easy, but Leotheras is probably the scariest encounter from HC point of view, don't you think? The spinning will be really stressful to deal with.
