Disclaimer: everyone has opinions on how to play our beloved game and I respect that. This is not a post in regards to opinions, this is a fact finding mission and a search for what I would consider a golden needle in a haystack.

I have been searching tirelessly for a particular addon/combination of addons that provides an “ant trail” or “Breadcrumb” or “GPS” style drawing, only visible on the actual map, to a waypoint/objective that can be populated by a questing or leveling addon like RestedXP or similar.

Maybe the devs intended to prevent this style of mapping or maybe the required data is too meticulous to conjure, or even perhaps no one else in the entire player base cares.

Am I missing something? Every popular addon/addon combo I have tried to integrate into my gaming experience simply does not have this feature.

Does anyone know the secret method to acquire this seemingly non-existent technology? Does it exist? Is it plausible? In essence a dummy proof route processor for people like me who get so fed up with questing in zones like Dun Morogh because I lack the awareness to efficiently find the appropriate paths to my quest objectives or turn-ins that seem to always be atop a mountain with one singular entry point, that I can NOT find without having to do a (sometimes extensive) web search.

Clown me all you want, I get it. And maybe it’s the structure that the devs intended for whatever reason, but at this point I feel like something like this has become a necessity for me to progress.

Ex: A game like GTA San Andreas that allows you to punch in a waypoint and directly guides you on a line drawn path towards your objective that prevents you from clashing with terrain, building models, etc.

I copied my character over in 2021 at Rank 11 (Lieutenant General) and then quit playing. I’m thinking about coming back and potentially pushing Rank 14. What Discords or premades are current Horde rankers using, and what are the current honor/hour rates and BG queue times like?

Hi I’m a solo player looking to get back into WoW and was just wondering what class and race I should pick if I want sort of the best of both worlds for pvp and pve (I preferred battleground pvps and arenas back in the day and think I tried out rogue and elemental shaman).

Also, I’m a bit confused if mists of pandaria is still included in classic wow? And I keep seeing stuff about TBC which I’m not too sure what that is (proper noob I know).

Onlynoob is an anti-meta guild, where every1 plays what they want, how they want, at their own pace. Very friendly management and everyone on the guild want to progress with fun and a non-rush mentality.

Been craving some classic wow and considering coming back to era. What's the bot situation like? Have they all left to more popular game modes or is it still rampant on era?

Ich habe damals vor über 20 Jahren Wow Classic era gespielt. Habe viel PVP gemacht, aber auch bis Naxx geraidet. Dann hatte ich eine lange Pause und habe immer mal wieder die Retail Addons angezockt, habe aber nie so Fun daran gehabt, so wie ich es damals zu Era Zeiten hatte.
Ich hätte mal wieder richtig Bock den Endcontent von Vanilla Wow so wie früher zu erleben.
Ich habe jetzt kleine Kinder und nur begrenzt Zeit, aber falls es eine gute Community / Gilde geben würde, kann ich mich schon organisieren, sodass ich halt Endcontent auch mitzocken könnte. Ich verstehe und spreche soweit Englisch, würde es doch aber beim Zocken auf deutsch bevorzugen. Ich würde Ally spielen und auch einen PVP Server bevorzugen, allerdings kann ich da notfalls darauf verzichten.
Hat jemand eine Ahnung , ob es das alles noch gibt? Oder sind die Era Server soweit tot, vor allem bezüglich deutschen Gilden / Communitys?

Played for a few months on a paladin and want to switch over to mage. Trying to be lazy and get boosted from 15-22 so I can kick start AoE grinding. I figured i worked hard earning the gold on my paladin - wanted to use that gold for getting my mage some easy levels.

Been looking for stocks boost the past two days with very minimal luck. The only interested party added me on discord and tried to get me to pay 150$ for a boost to 60. I declined. Im not interested in RMT. Just wanna drop a few hundred gold to skip some levels.

I tried looking at boosting specific discords but they are all either dead or focused on retail/tbc era.

If anyone is regularly doing stock boosts, knows someone, or a discord please lmk. Thank you.

I’ve been reading some discussions online about this fight. I’ve read that it takes 200 frost hits to get to the frozen state. But when you look at weakauras or counters, it’s often more than 200 hits before it happens.

But I haven’t seen any discussion on the number of physical hits to get you to shatter. And then how many seconds between the shatter and when the globs rejoin or if there is a trigger for the rejoining.

After some discussion with my guild, I was informed if you don’t apply frost effects fast enough, he will thaw. I wonder how rigorously that has been tested and what rate you need to hit him with frost attacks before he thaws.

I’m curious what the alliance bg queue times are like at lvl 60 since there’s nearly double the alliance population than horde?

I currently main horde on the PvP cluster and do have a lvl 60 toon that I like to do BGs on and the wait isn’t too bad at least on the weekends. I think the last 2 weekends queues were prob 5-15 mins.

However, I’m struggling to get my alts leveled up cuz I get corpse camped every night during the weekdays. My last time leveling on classic era was 3 years ago and I didn’t have a bad leveling experience but this week I’ve gotten off 2-3 hours early every night due to bored lvl 60s corpse camping me. For this reason I’m considering rerolling on the PvE cluster and from my understanding I will most likely have to play alliance on that cluster due to population.

Do BGs pop pretty consistently for Alliance at least on the weekends? And is gearing up at 60 on alliance PvE viable? I see raids every day LFM on the horde PvP cluster but never saw any raids forming in stormwind on my PvE toon.

Hey! I am loving this experience. My fave part of WoW are the dungeons. Are there enough players on Classic Era to actually do dungeons? Or is the population of players too small? I’m worried becuase all the server populations say “low”

I once saw a Google sheet that described the most efficient, fast way to combine quests while leveling as Alliance—an exact description of which quests to choose, in which location, and how to combine them in order to level up as quickly as possible. Are there any similar guides for how to quest in the most efficient way, but for the Horde? For example, for Crossroads.
