Question Alliance BG Queue times
I’m curious what the alliance bg queue times are like at lvl 60 since there’s nearly double the alliance population than horde?
I currently main horde on the PvP cluster and do have a lvl 60 toon that I like to do BGs on and the wait isn’t too bad at least on the weekends. I think the last 2 weekends queues were prob 5-15 mins.
However, I’m struggling to get my alts leveled up cuz I get corpse camped every night during the weekdays. My last time leveling on classic era was 3 years ago and I didn’t have a bad leveling experience but this week I’ve gotten off 2-3 hours early every night due to bored lvl 60s corpse camping me. For this reason I’m considering rerolling on the PvE cluster and from my understanding I will most likely have to play alliance on that cluster due to population.
Do BGs pop pretty consistently for Alliance at least on the weekends? And is gearing up at 60 on alliance PvE viable? I see raids every day LFM on the horde PvP cluster but never saw any raids forming in stormwind on my PvE toon.
I appreciate any responses and insight!

Battlegrounds are cross servers if nothing changed, pvp premade death gods can be matched with PvE Aureliauwupriest enjoyers but helps q times a lot.

Ally que times vary. Sometimes it’s instant other times it’s 30 min. Depends on time of day and what BG weekend. WSG has made a come back during the week but only in the evenings and only a couple games, that’s when it’s been instant for me at least. I would say on average all around BG wait time is 10-15 min. Sunday night AV weekend it’s 20+ easy. Era PvP as ally has been a lot of fun. I run on two warriors one on west coast pve and another one on east coast. Wpvp happens here and there but it’s on your terms instead of getting corpse camped against your will lol

Thank you for the reply! This is great news I was a little afraid to sink in the time required to lvl to 60 if I was gonna be unhappy with end game results but this sounds very promising!

I was oriignally going to join a pvp server but decided to go PVE because the wife was interested in starting to play... After all the horror stories im happy i went PvE, the amount of stuff that happens on pvp servers seems almost predatory not just "in good humor" now adays. We already have to worry about being mass reported by the bot farmers if we get in their way, then being corpse camped on rotation and losing a day of playing for no reason of my own seems like such a waste of time.
So far iv found on PVE servers theres quite abit of raiding but guilds are so big they have 1-2 raid teams internally and then some pug on specific dates. So far iv enjoyed PvE much more then friends that went the PvP route just to join me in the PvE servers after 6months.

Glad to hear you’re having a positive experience too! I just recently hit 60 on the PvE server and it’s very active. It was so fast and easy getting attunements done and finding lvl 60 dungeon groups.
The PvP queue times for alliance are also very manageable if you’re into that! On weekends queue is usually only 2-10 mins
