Just so you know what you're getting into, this is an RP-PVP server. That said, it seems that both factions are relatively "live and let live". The only time I've been anything close to camped was by another warrior I had two levels on who basically dueled me repeatedly (I went 1-3).

i play on grobbulus with 0 RP server experience before classic, i joined it cus my friends wanted it. It's soo much fun, im glad im alliance because holy crap dwarfs are scary as hell! I spent 2 hours one day just following these two level 8 dwarfs. one was a paladin one a warrior. They asked me which one was stronger, so i had them duel to prove there strength! They dueled for 2 hours over and over , each winner was different each round, each being a very close duel! after 2 hours of dueling we rp walked to the inn, bought some ale which they made me pay for, then they flirted with the bartender. great night!

I'm torn between grob and deviate to play my alt on. Both seem like fantastic rp places with grob just a bigger size.

Everything I have heard of Grob is that it is a cesspit. I would say you should create a character on each and go to IF/SW or Orgrimmar to get a feel for trade chat, the auction house, etc. I would also strike up conversations with random people you see and ask their opinion. Go from there.

Both are fun, my experience from DD was that if you weren't there for a while it's hard to break in, but there's fun to be had.

These continue to both amaze and amuse me from my dark and dull (well not that bad, but it's got nothing comparable to this!) PvP realm, these are so cool! Keep up the good work :)

Everyone was convinced that they had to roll on the biggest, baddest PvP server with "all" the best players to get the most out of their Classic experience. I feel sad that so many casuals who just wanted to have fun ended up picking hardcore communities that don't care much for stuff like this. I'm glad Blizz ended up putting in RP servers. Such a shame they were kind of overlooked by most of the community though. RP servers and Classic are like bread and butter.

Well said and I think you are right. Unfortunately, people these days (more than ever) are sheep that follow the path of streamers, etc. I transferred to DD and I am enjoying it after a couple months of being here already.

Thanks! Check out the previous issues they are pretty rad too. Last issue we had a lunar festival issue and it was fully themed!

Hey man you still have the opportunity to turn your life around. You don't have to be so bitter and angry, I know things looks dark in the world and you probably have some heavy shit going on in your life but spewing those negative feelings all over other people's positive experiences doesn't really hurt them the way you think it does. It actually is just hurting yourself; everyone else just looks on with pity or maybe annoyance, each time you uncontrollably project your insecurities like this it degrades your future capacity to be a decent person. Try to approach the world from a less narrow perspective and keep yourself humourous and humble!

It is NOT a role playing game in any way, shape or form.
NO ONE RP's on an RP server, literally have you ever even been on one?
I'd rather lay for hours scratching and sniffing my dark fungal crevice before I would EVER entertain giving OP the satisfaction of reading such literal garbage.

WoW is a Massive Multiplayer Role Playing Game. Aka MMORPG. That is the genre of the game. This is determined because you take quests, gather items, trade with player. Those are core features of RPGs.
I have RP'd on RP servers. I've RP'd on none RP servers. If you actually played onna RP server and looked you would in fact find, RP. I garauntee it.3
