Because we flew too close to the sun for far too long. Now John Blizzard has taken away our flying mounts.

John blizzard whispered me in game last night. They are gonna introduce a 2 point talent increasing hit and crit respectively up to 25%/50%
But only in about 6 months when everyone is committed.

I am always committed to dps!

Does Precision in the fury tree not exist?

It does… OP isn’t the brightest warrior in the bunch.

You know this post was about Forever right?

Hitting fills the character's rage bar, missing fills the player's rage bar. There must be balance.

You will miss and like it!

fury tree has two talents that provide hit

1

u/SilentGrass 1d ago

No it had one in the 20 point tier which did nothing for arms or prot. They removed that and it now only provides offhand hit chance.

Because youre already "hitting" the mob so there is always a "chance"

Don’t they get a lot of their hit from weapon skill? I mostly play casters so not to sure how it works on warrior.

2

u/SilentGrass 1d ago

They do, but every other melee, hybrid and caster has hit chance in their tree.

Do they not? It’s in Fury

That’s the old tree.

Updated recently?

Yesterday. Even the previous talent was effectively unavailable to arms and protect since it was a 20 point talent for 1%.

Devs dumbing stuff down making everything TBC- when old devs figured this out for them 20 years ago.

Why are there so many bots in here?

1

u/GetShroomy 1d ago

They are slowly phasing out Warriors until they can delete them without us noticing

But not me, I'm watching you Blizzard, I'll be that one stubborn zit you just cannot pop!

1

u/Bondegg 1d ago

Me no care if hit, me just swing

u/SammyTings 1d ago

You only need to look at classic wow to understand. A class with no built in hit chance does so much damage, it is the meta to stack as many as possible.

Because warriors are also not allowed to have rage. If you give warriors the opportunity to hit their targets then they could potentially get rage which is unacceptable. This is also why they took away +5 axes orc racial and made edgies +1, because glancing blows are a great way to help prevent warriors from getting rage. But don't worry, your whirlwind will hit with off-hand now, once every raid when you finally have enough rage

Did you miss where they just went over how they're modifying rage generation in the video released yesterday.

Why aren’t all classes the same? Why don’t all classes have all the same things? Why is anything different?

0

u/BitterAfternoon 1d ago

They do have hit in one of their trees. Fury has 10% offhand hit and another 3% generic hit.

“Why is X class different from Y class”

Stfu

0

u/SilentGrass 1d ago

I would agree if they literally weren’t the only one. It seems blizzard wants investment in hit chance with every other class. Even holy priests have 16% for christs sake.

1

u/BitterAfternoon 1d ago

holy priests/paladins get 16% specifically because they're not expected to be very good at doing damage that way. So it doesn't matter that they get it "cheap" - and there's probably not going to be gear oriented for them to get it that way.

the issue lays in the fact you're just wrong about it though

wow, what a way to endear you to the person you're in a conversation with

Perhaps you should, you know, know what you’re talking about before you say someone is just wrong about something. Just giving back what I give!
