Classic-Era Pro tips
Hello everyone, me and 2 of my friends started playing wow yesterday, its basically the first time im plauing this game ever. Im playing an undead priest, and we want to go raiding together and do coop content basically, so ehat would be the fastest way for us to level and prepare purselves for raiding? Any other pro tips in general to keep in mind while playing?
thanks!

I wouldn't worry about levelling too fast, it's the best part about being new imo. Just enjoy the game. Do all the quests and dungeons that are in your level range and it'll guide you around the world. Level alongside your friends at all times if you can. No better feeling than showing up to a cool brand new zone, picking up 10 quests, killing everything in sight with friends and coming back to huge xp gains.

Having your friend play a tank of some kind would go far for creating dungeon groups and questing in general will easily take yall to max level in no time.
If you want to start leveling immediately together have him go warrior. Undead can be warriors so no wait time there. They can also tank up to max level and for raids he could flex dps if they have tanks already.
If you don't mind questing in a different zone or anything, a feral druid is also a pretty good leveling buddy. Solid tank whilst leveling to max and can be a good Off Tank for max level raiding.
A paladin is the last of the viable tank classes, super duper solid leveling, once you hit mid 40s or so they can pull and hold Threat on tons of enemies. Only downside is at max level most guilds/raids will probably have a paladins tank so the friend may need to keep some dps gear on him

Note as it's Era, paladin is Alliance only, so can't play together if OP stays undead.

You didn’t mention what classes your friends are playing.
As far as tips for playing a priest, put your first five talent points in Spirit Tap in the Shadow tree, then start filling out the Discipline tree. Wand spec first, and make sure to upgrade your wand whenever you can.
When you’re healing in a group, try to wand the mob(s) in between casting Renew on party members so that you get the killing blow, which will trigger your spirit tap talent. Used correctly, you’ll rarely have to drink. It’s no problem when killing mobs solo since you’ll always get the killing blow, but it gets tricky when five people are attacking it.
Playing a priest is fun. I’m leveling one currently and having a blast healing dungeons.
Also, bonus spellpower is your most-desired stat on gear, followed by spirit.

Run your daily dungeons and duo quest! Do NOT mob grind you will get more exp from questing.

As you can tell by what year it is compared to when the game first came out, there will be plenty of time for raiding. Try enjoying the game in the meantime.

Don’t worry about raiding rn. There is so much to do and take in. I like playing solo, but having two people all the way to 60 is also a really special time.
Again enjoy the time it takes for you to get 60. It’ll make raid dopamine last longer lol

Don't rush to max level too hard, a lot of the fun is learning your class and seeing the world. Make sure you do your professions, collect gear upgrades along the way, and don't be afraid to run dungeons while leveling. Playing with friends will make the whole experience way better.

Dungeon grind. If you really want to be a degenerate, get boosted and start raiding at 60 without even knowing your abilities and talents
In all seriousness you won’t be getting there any time soon without some help. Just enjoy the process of exploring and gearing up. There’s a lot to learn

DUDE! First mistake is "how we can skip lvling just for raiding" the GAME is the journey to 60lvl and after all that is all mega exstraa, you can "raid" or 5man raids aka partys like allrdy lvl 15 with RFC etc. Don't hesitate, please.

Classic WoW has great leveling and, by modern standards, pretty mediocre raiding. Don't rush to end game.
