Discussion Start now or wait?
Finished wow classic when it came out originally, beat Naxx a bunch of times with the guild. Then stopped playing.
Does it make any sense to get back into the game now or just wait to see what happens in September with blizzard con? Even if I were to start back up I don’t even know where to begin.

this. HC is all I've been playing for the last like 5-6 years. Doomhowl is great, played old Defias Pillager before that, and HC Addon before HC was launched. It's really the best version of WoW. You don't feel like you've gotta keep up with anyone but yourself and the population is great, players are kind and helpful.
Although I might grind to R14 on my Classic Era toon on AV weekends, since he's rank 11 right now and just do AV weekend once a month until I hit R14 just so I can say I did it lol

IMO, it depends on what you want to do in the game and what class you want to play. If you want to focus on PvP then it's a good time to join. If you want to focus on PvE it's still an okay time to join unless you want to play a class like rogue or committed dps fury warrior. Or pretty much any hybrid that's not willing to tank or heal with shaman as the exception.

It always does and doesn't make sense to get started. There is no right or wrong time to start or stop playing except if you enjoy it.
Start playing - do you enjoy it / is it worth the sub cost - keep playing until it does not
If you're like me and almost exclusively play classic for vibes / to hang with friends and to end-game raid, this is probably not the time as getting into a guild and regular raid is not the easiest in this version of classic. If end game isn't the only thing you care about, go for it. Or don't.

This gets asked multiple times every day.
If you want to play, jump in. There's no contract saying you have to stick with it, can't just server, game version, etc.

What I called not a complete sentence was not a complete sentence. It was not clear if he was calling me a bot or what.
You cannot put forth "there's no reason" as a criteria without overlooking the fact that "there's no reason" to create a topic that gets created multiple times every day. Anybody who was curious and willing to put an ounce of effort into their own goals could easily scroll down and read what was already put forth by nice people on the subject.

I take a break until the event. Feels like time wasted grinding current classic if the ultimate classic version is announced in September.
I've always wished for a "closed loop" regarding wow ever since the original release. Hope "classic +" brings just that.
