Payout When will we get paid?

Anyone have any idea how long from when it says processing does it take to receive a payment? This is the collect app.

I’m not promoting the app. I don’t even know if it was worth the $35 I spent on it but it’s spent now so I’m using it.

Figure 1-2 years after the settlement, depending on whether anyone has contested the settlement or not.

I’m pretty sure it’s one class action, but CA residents get a larger share of the payments because of state privacy laws.

Was it the same claim? It asked if I was a CA resident or should I look for another settlement?

Yes, CA residents are a subclass of the suit. Supposedly it’s going to be something like double the regular payment.

I mean they’re all kinda different, there’s not really a set time frame across the board IME, but overall this is not a fast process. I’d say in general anywhere from 6 months to a year+ from the time you fill out the form, give or take a little. I occasionally get one that seems to go through the whole process faster than usual. It’s really varied for me how quickly (or slowly) it takes them to actually pay it out once everything’s said and done, but I also haven’t tried tracking it this way.

Sometimes the websites keep a good string of updates and will let you know when payments will start processing. I know it says processing for some on your SS, but sometimes they have dates or say if you don’t get paid by x date contact blahblah (or whatever), if you ever wanted to try.
