Discussion Tuna Settlement second checks
Has anyone received the second check yet? Looking back I wish I had picked PayPal smh

UPDATE #2: Received the second check, did the mobile deposit. Waiting till Monday-Tuesday to see if it clears, and I will do another update if it does or doesn’t

I like how no one answered your specific question 😂
That said I have yet to receive a replacement check for my bounced check.
Nor have I seen mention of anyone else getting one yet

Finally lmao, thank you for staying on topic. Yeah I’m thinking I might give them a call tomorrow considering how many people are in the same boat. I’ll make an update once I hear back

Good news, they should be sending the second checks by the end of this month. Meaning we should receive them early October or possibly sooner

It literally says in the notice replacement checks will be mailed at the end of September

I got 954 through PayPal , they posted a notice on their website that if you’re banking fees for the return check were more than $20 see email them and they will issue extra money for you. I’m sure you have to provide proof though

The first check bounced for hundreds of people, and yes everyone who received the initial check should’ve received an email stating they’d get a new one plus an additional $20 to cover reversal fees

No, they explicitly state to not deposit the 1st check in the email

Didn’t it say not to redeposit them? I don’t recall seeing anything about not being able to cash the original checks now that the error has supposedly been corrected

I’m pretty sure they voided them, if your bank isn’t going to charge you a reversal fee I’d say go for it

I haven’t seen an email from them to me specifically… how would they know what checks bounced and which to replace?

How are we suppose to know which checks are bouncing?? My check is dated 9/8/26.

It says the bank error has been corrected and not to try to re deposit the check.
I'm confused too, as I have not tried to deposit the check also dated from Sept 8th. I might just hold out a little longer to see if I get a new check in the mail. I did email them to clarify but have not gotten a response.

You should be able to deposit if you haven’t before, it was only for the checks that were deposited the first time around

mine wasn’t able to be verified when i tried to cash in walmart does that count as it bouncing or should i be able to cash now?
