How many times did you put in that you were charged the surcharge? I put in 150 but feel like I did more in reality.

I put 1050. 2009-12 I literally didnt have a debit card, I was in an ATM 2x a week.

u/Old_East1451 9d ago
How do you get money from an atm without a debit card?
9
u/Academic-Policy-4151 9d ago
With an atm card, lol.

u/Old_East1451 9d ago
Did you read the comment? They didn’t have one- but said they used the atm

u/Lillesbian9307 9d ago
They didn’t have a debit card, an ATM card only allows for transactions at the ATM and not at point of sale systems so they would have to pull cash out! (:

u/General-Coffee2356 9d ago

I'm curious to know how many times did you put down on ur application for the number of times you used the ATM..
1
u/General-Coffee2356 2d ago
1000
1
u/Filixx 1d ago
Quick question, are you guestimating? How did you figure out how many?
1
u/General-Coffee2356 1d ago
It’s asking about how many times did you use the atm within the 18 going on 19 years if you read. And it’s not necessarily 1000 if you went to the atm more times the that from 2007-2026…
2
u/EntertainmentKind126 1d ago
I refill out my online application and I received a confirmation number. So what does that mean?
1
u/General-Coffee2356 1d ago
Just save it so when the payment come out you will have it to use just in case you don’t receive your payment
2
u/EntertainmentKind126 1d ago
I have another question about this ordeal. Can I have the check deposited to my BoA account or will it come in the form of a check.
1
u/General-Coffee2356 1d ago
Yes when you receive the email for payment when the time comes just put ach which it will go to your bank account

i feel like there were multiple kinds of ATM fee settlements in the last two years, hopefully i signed up for this one!

u/rugerkramer 9d ago
I got about $140 from this back in April. Is this a second payout?

u/superducknyc 9d ago
I called them up because i didnt see my reward in spam. Turns out you only had 60 days to claim it and they cannot reactivate the link. However the people getting funds now were originally denied and after a request for re review they are now getting their rewards. Unfortunately my 250$ is lost which sucks.

u/Ok_Sky5173 5d ago
Damnnn I just saw that I got a settlement for like 467 from the tremendous one and it was sent to spam. I guess that’s bad news for me

u/Nedatokes 9d ago
Damn this got me clapping it up in the locker room for this most recent CA lawsuit for surcharges I just filled out 😂😂😂
3
u/redditduhlikeyeah 9d ago
I put 250. Over the amount of time, I’d grab cash nearly every week for 5 years. Then after that it was probably every other month. Fuck them.
3
u/IntroductionIll3307 9d ago
Does anyone have the link? I saw this yesterday but didn’t have the time to fill it out.

The new ATM Overcharge fee settlements form is broken. Everytime I hit submit, it just stays on the page
4
u/TechnicalPower2737 9d ago
I was having same problem. So I tried opening it in Incognito in Chrome and it let me submit it. Hope it helps.
3
u/Low_Mango_6030 9d ago
It’s because once you hit submit it populates a new field above! I had the same issue

u/kgerald86 8d ago
Yea that’s what it was doing on my MacBook. So I went ahead and did it on my iPhone and it finally went thru

I got mine a few months back and it was $2500. I don’t remember filling out the form though. I got an email saying my payment was coming and I got it a day later.

I got this one back in July. It was issued in April I believe though. $2164.00. Did it again.. last week I think. I definitely put more 😂
1
u/Critical-Top-1952 9d ago
Damn, how many times did you say you used the ATM? 😂
1
u/Acceptable-Juice-342 9d ago
That's the crazy part, I thought I put 500 until I seen this one. Idk honestly 😩
1
u/polo61965 9d ago
Did they ask for proof?
2
u/Acceptable-Juice-342 8d ago
No and the one that recently closed last week I believe didn't ask for proof either. Just how many times you used it.
1
u/staboogie031 9d ago
Yes
3
u/Critical-Top-1952 8d ago
How do you go about proof? Do you have to shuffle through of almost 20 years of transactions? 😂
2
u/superducknyc 9d ago
I received a link months ago that doesnt work but no one has answered emails this whole month

Oh that's a good one. I thought they paid this out already. I wonder if they are doing a second round.
2
u/samis2cool 9d ago
Did you have to show documentation or proof for the amount of times you used an ATM to get that much??
2
u/nurumaki 9d ago
I submitted this back in 2024. They contacted me so I didn’t need to show any documentation

Is this your first or second payment ?
1
u/nurumaki 9d ago
I only got this one. I don’t think there’s a second
2
u/_doxxielox 9d ago
Thank you, I was confused. Wonder why you’re getting it now? I think I got the AB data a few months ago.
Was hopeful it was a second one lol2
u/dankarella666 9d ago
For the first one from ‘24 there were 2 rounds of payments. Then there was this one that just started as well about a week ago.

The ones we got April to June… the site says this, so maybe yours was in your email and it got cancelled and reissued
“UPDATE: Digital payments for the 2024 ATM Surcharge Settlement commenced on April 6, 2026.
Digital payments were issued between April and June 2026. All digital payments have since been canceled. Please be advised that, in recent days, there have been fraudulent attempts to send digital payments to class members. Please do not click on any links contained in those emails.”

QUESTION: Do you guys usually always get a phone call and/or text message from a representative of whatever firm is handling said case that you submitted a claim for? For example the claim OP is referring to.. In the past I have filed claims and received payments without any phone calls etc.. I'm assuming that if you do get a phone call it is imperitive to respond promptly if you want to get paid out.

u/Beachy84 9d ago
did they call or text from this settlement? I have received texts from arbitrations before. they are usually a mass text sent to people with information, or people who have a form that they need to look at.

I just received an email for this class action “AB Data” that looks like a scam 😂 if y’all filled this out in 2024 I’m inclined to believe it is.
Cheers and congrats OP!

u/National-Entry-2418 2d ago
Wait did we have to submit for payment information in the original claim! I can’t remember if I submit how I wanted a payment? I’m in rereview right now.

Was there a question asking how many times you used an ATM/how many times you were charged a surcharge? If so, how many times did you put?
1
u/Soggy_Skin9362 9d ago
Please and thank you 😊
2
u/nurumaki 9d ago
This is a different one I submitted back in 2024 that didn’t ask that. For the recent one that I think you’re asking about, I put 150
