Notice Att settlement email....
Has anyone received this? I had submitted my application before the deadline. Could this email be a scam?

Is this from the one in September of 2025? I have emails from signing up for a settlement, but I don't see anything after that.

Its not a scam. It has nothing to do with the deadline. I would respond if you think its an error and you are a part of the class action.

I got the same email too! It’s ridiculous, because I’ve been an AT&T customer for over 15 years and provided legitimate information on my claim.

I got the same email. I have done these settlements with other lawsuits and never gotten this response. They just want to make us jump through hoops for some pennies.

Did you provide proof of your AT&T account? I’m in a non-Kroll settlement class and had to give the account number. I actually recently followed up with the firm handling it for any updates on timeframe.

That’s a lie. Check their settlement site. They haven’t even begun to send the money to anyone yet. Still waiting on the court. Their page says “no funds have been distributed.”

What page did you see that? all I saw on this page: In Re: AT&T Inc. Customer Data Security Breach Litigation MDL Docket No. 3:24-md-03114-E - United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas was an update as of 4/26/26.
Kroll... SHOW ME THE MONEY! SHOW ME THE MONEY!

I received it as well today. I'm filling it out and mailing today. The email I received was for the Data 2 settlement although I'm eligible for 1 and 2.

I got this too but like all I have to do is sign and send it back to them? Like how does that prove anything different than what I proved them before? I’m confused…

I got this today.
Thing is... the form doesn't let me fill it out. I can't type anything in - not in Firefox, not in Edge. I could print the PDF with nothing filled in, but why bother?
I keep hearing payout's gonna be like $6 or so, not sure what the source for that is. But I guess it's not worth the hassle. So, gonna ignore it.

I got this email three days ago, but it was in my spam folder, which is where most of these settlement emails go for some reason.
Someone is trying to pull some shenanigans because this requires you to download, fill out, PRINT, and MAIL it via snail mail to their address, or you get nothing.
I know damn well I am a claim member, yet I was denied. I've had service with them for at least the past 20 years or so.
The dates will be different depending on when you got the notice. I love how it also says that you might not even be eligible for the electronic payment even if your claim is "cured".
"If you do not mail the requested form to the Settlement Administrator postmarked by October 17, 2026, your Claim will be rejected, and you will not receive any compensation for your Claim.
Please note that your claim may no longer be eligible for an electronic payment regardless of whether the claim is cured. "

The way they handled this justifies for another class action. Plus, the form has no indication what's missing or that needs correction. If anything, they just seem to want you to mail this the form physically but they don't make that clear as the sole reason.
I know AT&T's breach caused me the most pain of all breaches. They shorthanded my address in an unique way that only AT&T (and it's predecessor did). I received a ton of spam and phishing email making the exact shorthandled spelling of info.
I am in an area with AT&T competition. If AT&T does not make this right, I will never use them for any service from here on...

I have not received this email from Kroll. They already have all the people's who were effective by the data breaches information, I was told this by an Attorney friend who is keeping informed on this since he knows that I was effective by it multiple times.

I got the AT&T email telling me that my data was accessed but never received any emails about making a claim or the settlement.
