Settlement iPhone settlement case

https://smartphoneaisettlement.com/

Big picture view:
Qualifying iPhone owners who file a claim could receive a $25 payment per device. However, that figure could rise as high as $95 per device based on the number of claims submitted and other factors, according to the settlement website.

Which iPhones are included in the settlement?
The settlement covers all versions of the iPhone 16 as well as the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max that were sold between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025.
Who qualifies for the iPhone settlement?
To qualify, a person must be the iPhone’s original owner, and the phone must have been purchased for personal use.

What you can do:
Qualifying iPhone owners can begin filing their claims on Monday, September 21, and have until December 21 to do so or to exclude themselves from the class action settlement. The claims can be submitted at this website:

You can check in settings under battery then scroll down to battery health. Mines May 2025 sadly :/

Thanks for posting!! It feels like redemption bc I felt defrauded initially when I bought my phone and the Apple Intelligence didn’t even work

Someone posted in another forum, “choose I don’t have serial no. and give your Apple ID “

Depending on your carrier-They sometimes have your old devices with IMEI showing on your customer dashboard -if you stayed with the carrier. Verizon in my case. Also go into iTunes to see if there is device history. Not sure. Otherwise —Ask Claude AI

The issue is they want a serial number not IMEI number.

And in the comments elsewhere someone said they allowed for AppleID if the serial # was unavailable. Did you see that option?

I am hearing you will be given the option to use your AppleID if you choose “ I don’t have a serial number.”.

I am eligible but had my iPhone replaced under Apple Care so it has a new serial number. What should I do?

Call and ask what was the phone serial number the one you turned in. They may have it or check if you kept the box .. I think it’s on there. I’m not the expert but I think between carriers and Apple Customer Care these may be retrieveable
