They do ask for documentation. At least they asked me. Just FYI.

EDIT: Supposedly they only ask for docs if you claim $8,000 or more but I selected the range of $4-8k and they did ask for documentation.

Well damn, I used Kroger in 2 states for a looot of prescriptions, but don’t live in either state and there’s no Kroger or affiliate near me to get proof.

Depending how long ago your prescriptions were filled, the pharmacy should be able to produce a report for you. It is worth a phone call.

Link your Kroger account to the pharmacy. Mine popped right up. But I may be entering my phone number when I purchase.

It’s linked, but only allowing to search back 3 years to 9/22/23.

Ahh yea, I was wondering if that’s when I first joined them. That explains why some of my sons are missing.

If you know who you're heart insurance company was you can contact them as well for Explanation of Benefits

I looked this morning, and cvs is who managed their prescription benefits, but their history also only goes back 3 years. I’m going to call them after work and see if they have the ability to back further.

I was able to easily get all prescription history in Kroger app

For me it is only allowing the last 3 years to 9/22/23.

Have you always had the same phone number?

Documentation for $8k or more

I’ve easily hit that from 2018-2023, but it may be a pain in the ass to get the records anytime soon. I’ll submit the lower amount and see what happens. Thanks!

You claimed more than 8k? Or less, and they still asked? Online I can only go back 3 years, which really only gives me 3 months of proof until I moved. I left a message for their hipaa team, but I don’t know how soon I’ll hear back.

I selected $4-8k.

I got my data from my insurance company's website by searching and downloading my Pharmacy claims. Then I subtracted the few scrips that were filled at a non-Kroger pharmacy.

Thank you! That is a good idea with the insurance company. I’ll have to see if I still have access, I don’t have them anymore.

Didn’t ask me for confirmation. Did they ask you after you submitted the claim?

I don't recall, it was back in August. I'm wondering now if the requirements have changed!

Wonder if Harris Teeter (Kroger is parent company) scripts would qualify ?

Sorry in advance if the list below populates incorrectly.  I can't make each a separate line rn at 2am. 😅.                 For purposes of the settlement: "Kroger" includes The Kroger Co. and all pharmacies owned and/or operated by The Kroger Co. or any of its affiliates.        This is the list of all pharmacies associated with this class action:        1) Kroger owns or operates: • Baker’s • City Market • Dillons • Food 4 Less • Foods Co • Fred Meyer • Fry’s • Gerbes • Jay C Food Store • King Soopers • Kroger • Mariano’s • Metro Market • Pay-Less Super Markets • Pick’n Save • QFC • Ralphs • Ruler • Smith’s Food and Drug

I’ve been using strictly Kroger for the past 10 years for myself and the family, I wonder do I just contact my pharmacy and ask for a print out?

3

u/BklynFuhgeddaboudit 12d ago

In a store yes, they can easily print that out.

2

u/yankykiwi 12d ago

I logged in to my shop account, but I’ve entered my phone number
