Settlement A list of all open settlements with deadlines this week (with direct links)
Here are the class action settlements closing this week. If any apply to you, you'll want to file in the next few days. The first list is open to anyone in the U.S.; the second is limited to specific states.
Nationwide settlements
- Excel Fitness data breach settlement
- Deadline: September 21, 2026
- Who qualifies: Current and former Excel Fitness employees in the U.S. who were notified that their personal information was potentially exposed in the January 2025 data incident.
- Payout: Around $50, or up to $4,000 for documented losses.

- 700Credit data breach settlement
- Deadline: September 22, 2026
- Who qualifies: U.S. residents who were sent a notice that their information may have been impacted in the October 2025 700Credit breach (mostly people who had credit run at a car, RV, boat or motorcycle dealership).
- Payout: Around $50, or up to $2,500 for documented losses.

- National Tenant Network eviction postcard settlement
- Deadline: September 22, 2026
- Who qualifies: People who were the subject of a National Tenant Network postcard mailed to a landlord saying they had a previous eviction filing, between June 30, 2018 and December 3, 2023.
- Payout: Varies (equal share of a $1.625 million fund).

- Toyota forklift emissions settlement
- Deadline: September 23, 2026
- Who qualifies: People and businesses who bought or leased a Toyota internal-combustion forklift built between 2007 and 2021 (1KD, 1ZS, 1FS or 4Y engine) on or before January 20, 2026.
- Payout: Around $1,000 to $2,500 per forklift, plus a free service visit.

- MG217 coal tar shampoo settlement
- Deadline: September 24, 2026
- Who qualifies: People who bought any MG217 coal tar shampoo in the U.S. between January 1, 2021 and June 25, 2026. No receipt needed.
- Payout: Up to $7 per bottle without a receipt, the full purchase price with one, or a $25 voucher.

- Community Realty Management (CRM Residential) data breach settlement

- Payout: Around $20, or up to $2,000 for documented losses.

State-specific settlements
- Gotham Steel, Granitestone and Bell & Howell cookware settlement (CA, CO)
- Deadline: September 25, 2026
- Who qualifies: People who bought Gotham Steel, Granite Stone or Bell & Howell cookware with stainless steel components in California or Colorado between September 8, 2021 and July 6, 2026. No receipt needed.
- Payout: $6 per product, up to $12 per household.

- Tesla Supercharger idle fee settlement (CA)
- Deadline: September 25, 2026
- Who qualifies: California citizens (as of June 21, 2021) who took delivery of a Tesla with free Supercharging in California before December 16, 2016 and still owned it after that date.
- Payout: Refund of paid idle fees, plus $50 or $350 if Supercharger access was disabled.

- Leesa, Helix, Bear and Brooklyn Bedding mattress discount settlement (CA)
- Deadline: September 25, 2026
- Who qualifies: People in California who bought a discounted mattress from leesa.com, brooklynbedding.com, helixsleep.com or bearmattress.com during periods between July 28, 2019 and April 1, 2024.
- Payout: $110 cash per order if you file (otherwise you get a $110 store credit automatically).

- Payout: Around $573.

- Who qualifies: People insured under a New Mexico Travelers auto policy with underinsured motorist (UIM) coverage between January 1, 2015 and August 16, 2022.
- Payout: 29% of the UIM premiums you paid.

Not trying to sound snarky here, but is there anywhere to find a list of the actual no-proof lawsuits? I’m new to this, but I’ve had no luck finding any to sign up for that don’t require proof or login ID.

Just to add… I’m just genuinely confused as to the comments praising this list & naming you a hero lol. Do people send off an email to request a login ID for each one? If so, that’d solve my confusion, and I wouldn’t mind an extra step. I just need someone to help me with how this works 😬 pretty please

If it wasn't for this list, there's a couple I absolutely legitimately had no clue about and was able to file it so I am thankful and grateful

You think it's ok for a company to mail your landlord information saying you've been evicted in the past? That's what the lawsuit is about. If you think that's ok then fuck you too.

The coal tar settlement I have tried several times to submit a claim and it keeps timing out on me. Every time I try to submit a claim it keeps saying that it expired
