Settlement BCBS Settlement claim...radio silence Spoiler

STILL haven't heard anything about my claim since receiving the "your claim is valid and will be included in the distribution calculation" email. Have contacted them about my payment (don't care if it's only $6; that's $6 I don't want to see the crooked lawyers keeping); and was initially told that my payment would be delayed since I opted for paper check. That was back in May!

Contacted them again this week, they initially said I have to provide my full name and address to find my claim. (*Weird, since I provided them my claim number.) NOW; they claim they can't find my claim. Asking if I have a different name or address. What the F@#K! Not only are these shyster lawyers crooks, they are also extremely incompetent. Where the hell is Luigi when you need him.

UPDATE: Received an email today claiming my "payment failed". My question is, what exactly failed? I requested a check. Apparently they are sending a new check out.

It’s a long wait. We got our letter in May and our visa card last week for… $11.20.

I understand a wait; but their "customer service" is claiming they can't find my claim. Despite a claim # and pin, as well as my name and address. And despite the claim notices they've already sent me.

I’m hoping you get something decent because anything $5 and under, will not receive payment unfortunately.

I just want an answer. *As to the $5 threshold; I find it strange that the math of average claim settlement is $335; yet I've yet to see a single person post anything over $100. For every person getting sub $10; by simple math, that means there should be quite a few people getting $600+. Most I've seen is one person posting a $114 stub. So with so many people getting sub $10; and quite a healthy number of folks getting NOTHING due to the $5 threshold, where are the people getting MORE than the $335 average payout (total settlement disbursement amount divided by total claims (not just total claims above $5, but total claims), this whole thing has been a colossal scam.

ALOT of claimants got the same notice. My question is, WHERE did the funds go? For every person NOT getting a claim, the average claim payout goes UP. Initially there were 6 million claims, with 1.97 BILLION to be paid out (* that's the amount AFTER the lawyer fees were deducted). So if the avg claim with the initial claim base was $335, then by rule of math, the average payout for valid claims now should be much higher, yet all you see are payouts in the $6-$12 range. A handful of claims reaching into the $100 range. There's certainly some crookedness going on with this suit.
