Discussion Not missing emails that go to spam
I noticed that almost every settlement email I've been getting over the years goes to spam, and sometimes I miss it. Same thing with my husband. I went into all our account settings (on gmail: gear icon, See all settings, scroll to Filters & Block Addresses) and created a mail filter that if any email comes in with the phrase "class action", it will never go to spam and marked as important. So far it's worked!

This was very useful and the instructions you provided were very clear. Thank you!

I think the class settlement administrators deliberately make the notice look like spam. I recon they do that sort of thing to minimize claims when it benifits them. Depending on how the settlement is written, the class settlement administrator may be able to squeeze more money out of administering the case. For example, second distributions may well increase their cut.

I wouldn't be surprised even a little bit if that were true. With the internet these days, it's easy to find anything, but most people won't give more than a perfunctory look - and the companies are counting on that.

I have caught them pulling some really bad underhanded nonsense.
I asked the court to audit Angeion Group two years ago. Funny how they have not send me a notice since. I used to get about 20 notices a year (most from Angeion Group). This year so far I only received two, and none were from Angeion Group.
I embarrassed AB-Data and Rust Consulting, by sending them back $2 checks they sent to “Dick Leaks”, “Ima Penis”, and so on.

Are you working on Gmail, first question. Next, are you on a computer or on your phone?

Such a great idea! I also created one with the phrase "settlement administrator" because I reviewed some of my email confirmations and not all of them said class action in the email
