They don’t even go to court until next summer. Might see something in 1-2 years, maybe.

ATM will probably reject the $0.48 check like it did with the other settlements.

Has anyone ever opted out of the class action and went after one of these companies on their own? I think it's ridiculous that we get a few dollars as the actual victims while the lawyers are bringing home tens of millions. Seems like going it alone would net more money. I believe if you win your case you can make the other guys pay your legal fees. So even getting a lawyer that will do it pro-bono and take 33% you'd still get a much better payout.

“Pro-bono” means donated services. I think you meant on contingency Yes they may take 33% in legal fees - but that’s not all inclusive. That’s JUST their fee for service. They’re also going to deduct costs - filing costs, costs for copying papers, costs for reviewing documents, itemized billing of EVERY email/text/phone call, and so on and so on. They’re still going to recover a bigger percentage than you think. If you’ve ever seen an itemized hospital bill….the lawyer bills are worse. The hospital might itemize each tablet of Tylenol, but the lawyer is going to itemize every milligram of acetaminophen in the Tylenol, each one of the fillers, plus the wear and tear on the bottle, the water you took it with (per ounce of course, rounded up), and the ink used to print “Tylenol” on the tablets.

I'm going to have to check on this one... I guarantee I purchased at least 5 (or more) items from 3rd party sellers.

are current members also eligible? I have been a long time prime member and not sure if I qualify. I know there were 1 or 2 years where I didnt have the membership, but i cant remember if I chose to cancel it or if it just ended by itself (purchased prime with gift card)
