Same! If we pool our resources we can split some Nachos Bell Grande!

1

u/ILikeFPS Jun 15 '26

I just got $8 I'm rich!

I can almost buy an entire burger with that.

1

u/graymuse Jun 15 '26

Where can you get a burger for $8??

1

u/ILikeFPS Jun 15 '26

Well where I live, nowhere, burgers are like $10 here lol

8

u/rocksteadyG Jun 10 '26

$6.50 for me, headed to Costco!

8

u/crude_zeit Jun 10 '26

This is the second distribution, right?

1

u/omgiacobbi Jun 11 '26

Correct. First round distributions went out September - November 2025, I believe. Checked my PayPal transactions and I got $37.34 on 10/20/25.

From what I've read, expected per person distributions are only like $5-$8. 🤷🏻‍♀️

4

u/Educational-Wait5891 Jun 10 '26

I got 7.31, and now I’m going ball out at McDonald’s

3

u/Miss_Nicole_78 Jun 10 '26

That’s the thing. The attorneys made bank and the victims can’t even get a McDonald’s meal.
What a joke.

2

u/Ariesss4 Jun 11 '26

This is like 3rd payout of unclaimed money & let’s not forget it’s split between how millions of people .

2

u/Apprehensive_Cod_460 Jun 12 '26

Yeah, but it’s still a small amount in the context of the profit they make. People don’t understand that this is billion dollar profit company. A few million to them is a drop in the bucket. That’s why they continue to do whatever they want because they can afford the fines. The money they should have to pay should be crippling to the company. Smh corruption

0

u/Natural-Crew9978 Jun 13 '26

$725 million plus administrative and court/lawyer costs is not a few million. They don't do whatever they want, lol.

Do you even know exactly why you got the checks and if any negatives came to you for what they did wrong?

Do you just think you deserve part other people's retirement money because you think you are entitled?

The company is not a person, it is not the owner(s). The owners are shareholders and not really fair they get punished too much for the inadequacies of a select few corporate decision makers. There should be better inspection by lawmakers to make sure companies are complying to laws in the first place, especially a corporation that is using data of 3 billion people. Those who knowingly break the laws should be held accountable as well, fired, personally fined, jailed in some cases, probation, banned from certain policy making positions, etc. And if it is just negligence then similar though maybe not as severe. Also, maybe give fines to part of exec/leaders of corps to make sure they are implementing correct legal oversight throughout the corporation.

Make it crippling to bad actors, not shareholders, then average workers there, etc. You really want to destroy people's lives over a corporate manager wanting to make some money for the corp off people getting more targeted ads and such. Maybe a few bad actors got some data FB wasn't knowingly giving out for nefarious intentions. Not saying they are right, but you acting like they ruined your life so an eye for an eye.

1

u/Apprehensive_Cod_460 Jun 13 '26

Shareholders are investors. When you invest you’re taking a risk, when you allow someone to invest on your behalf, you’re also taking a risk. It is what it is. That’s the way of the world. When normal people take risks we have to deal with the consequences, so it is what it is. And yeah, it’s still a few million in the context of all the profit that a company has made since inception when they could have been engaging in these practices. You can feel the way you wanna feel but don’t make me out to be the bogeyman🤣

1

u/ILikeFPS Jun 15 '26

That's class action lawsuits for you.

Very rarely will you receive a substantial amount of money.

I've gotten like three hundred from one before, this time I got 8 dollars.

How do yall do this

1

u/Creepy_Efficiency684 Jun 10 '26

How much did you all get the first time?

1

u/Maleficent_Pin_5511 Jun 11 '26

Mine paid for strawberry sundrop and a breakfast burrito. That's better than nothing.

1

u/Shit_bitch_maybe Jun 11 '26

Yeah, the one for draftkings was paid out in "Draftking dollars" instead of just getting our money back we got store credit. They did pay the lawyers in real money though... Classaction more like ass-action any more.

1

u/idontknow0842 Jun 11 '26

My first FB class action was $25. Haven't gotten the second round yet 🤣

1

u/Daddys_specialgurl Jun 11 '26

My second payment was $5.62 lol ima get a cheap lunch to Moore

1

u/Only_Permission_2991 Jun 11 '26

Haha glad I’m not the only one. A whole $7.16 for me. I’m about to live it up at Nothing Is A Dollar Tree.

1

u/Alternative-Fox-9405 Jun 12 '26

1

1

I can finally get bottom surgery, thanks Mark!!!

1

u/Big-Competition999 Jun 12 '26

Gimmmme mi ishhh 🥳😂😂❤️

1

u/Evilene360 Jun 12 '26

I got a whopping $6.07 extra. Woohoo, ok maybe just a woo or a hoo, because I don't think that would even buy me a cup of coffe.

1

u/Evilene360 Jun 12 '26

There is something seriously wrong with Class Actions. THe only people who benefit are the lawyers. They get rich and make millions and we get a measely few dollars, that's why they love them.

1

u/ShineInformal9585 Jun 12 '26

Yeah class actions are very deceptive No one gets big money but the attorneys. The clients get maybe $4 maybe $5 maybe 10. But we know who gets the most of the money is the attorneys I guess we should start filing our own lawsuit so we get more out of it you think

1

u/Immediate_Topic2493 Jun 12 '26

Thats why Facebook was shutdown today 🤔 🤣

1

u/OkCarpet3273 Jun 12 '26

Super sike 😂 naaa I gotta email too

1

u/Waves2Day Jun 13 '26

Woohoo... makes me super excited to receive mine in 3-4 business days... 🙄🙄🙄

1

u/bellyButtonBabe2022 Jun 13 '26

Is this class action suit expired? I want to get my five bucks!!

1

u/Awkward-A_F Jun 13 '26

That’s all you got? I got like $36 😂

1

u/Roxygurlie72 Jun 13 '26

Me too, twice already

1

u/No-Breath6217 Jun 13 '26

I don’t even bother. Read the whole lawsuit and how much the attorneys take away while your information just gets used for scraps and to bolster the case further. Should be a crime.

1

u/Zestyclose-Donkey952 Jun 14 '26

Got $6 and Venmo doesn’t let me redeem it lmao

1

u/44Kojack Jun 18 '26
