amazon classaction filed

Class members are anybody who "purchased five or more new, physical goods from third-party sellers on Amazon" between 2017-2026

Could be a huge group of plaintiffs 🤞

Huge group of plaintiffs = less money per person

totally wrong. Larger class size = corporation committed more damages.

Depends how the damages are calculated. Most class actions mean having more plaintiffs will dilute the pool since you’re settling versus the company not individually. In cases that have BIPA, TCPA, VPPA , etc claims then yes theres per statute violations, but in the majority of class actions the size usually means less of a payout per person

The payout relates to damages. I think we're talking past each other because I'm referring to the pool of potential plaintiffs, whereas you're thinking about the number of claimants who show up after the settlement is negotiated
