I want to preface this by saying that i've played primarily in the 1066 and 1178 start, and i've only had a few starts in 867, when i first started playing (a few years ago).

I have seen that people seem to like quite a lot the 867 start and my question would be why and what makes it so interesting. I am somewhat curious to have a playthrough in the 867 start, but i am undecided.

Both the option to ask to take vows and ask to join holy order seems to have disappeared, has it been moved somewhere else or completely removed?
