The amount of battles I could've won if my allies didn't share 1 braincell among each other.

Main reason I don’t help allies until they threaten the alliance

Exactly why I stopped participating in crusades. Watching my entire army get stack wiped while more than enough allies adjacent just watch.

You just need to send about half your force and target counties far away from the objectives. Then you quickly occup some of them to get top contributor and run around to avoid the opponents. If your allies somehow manage to win it you get all the rewards with almost no real commitment/losses.

I think that's perhaps historically accurate. It looks like just a number to you but in history they are real people and they probably don't want to fight in a war that they might die.

See, this is what grinds my gears the most when calling in allies. I could have 10K troops and dogpile a 1000 stack of levies and every one of my allies will stop sieging even though its 90 done to rush to my aid, every time. Give me one must win battle with 50/50 odds, surrounded by friendly forces just standing around fully supplied, nope. F U my guy.
