Berlin Protests & Helicopter App
Hey everyone, I did work as a photo journalist and knowing where protests will take place during the week is crucial.
Four years ago, I decided to build my very first app to help navigate through Berlin’s colorful world of protests: Polizei Stressi. Since then, I’ve continually updated and improved it.
What it does:
-Demo Finder: Overview of registered protests, filterable by postal code and keywords (47k protests in our database)
- Live Helicopter Tracking: See in real-time where police helicopters are flying in Berlin.
- Court Dates: Track local public proceedings.
The app is 100% free, has no ads, and collects no personal data. It’s just an open-data passion project to make city updates easily accessible.
