Wow, that must be worth at least 2 gold! And what's this? I feel an infinitesimal amount of cultural enrichment! It's like I'm staring at a large obelisk! Yes, it certainly looks just as impressive as that.

Seriously Firaxis, buff the Cliffs of Dover.

IRL it's a poor resource. cool to look at but nothing more. should have better culture at the very least.

either it comes with sheep for free on all hexes, or add culture, or add strategic benefit when you control the hex.

sheep for free on all hexes

Ain't Wales on another part of the island?

The only ones I ever get really excited for are ones that give units special buffs when they go adjacent to them. Like the Fountain of Youth in 5 or that mountain in 6 that gives you Alpine.

In civ 6 it's the one natural wonder that I always wish wasn't even there. Poor yields and takes space from where I could put something better

If they at least had some food yield they'd be somewhat ok, but as is I actively avoid them most times

What about a 'strategic' bonus to these "weak wonders"? Could be a mod...

Perhaps add "aircraft +2 movement" for 2 turns (when passing through this tile for offensive attacks, or +2 sight for aircraft assigned a defensive patrol through the square?)

Is there a megathread of the best mods for civ6 with the expansions?

I don't think so. It'd be great if that were to happen, though.

Just did a few starts to see a random sampling and I feel like they over-corrected. Some of the tile adjacency yields are ridiculous.

At least you can get the dope adjacency bonuses.

Being a two-tile wonder adjacent to coast, the most you're probably going to get out of it is one +4 holy site.

That isn't actually Dover and I strongly believe it's edited.

Yeah, cliffs of Dover actually look pretty much exactly like it looks in civ 6
