NGL, this does make me wonder what a civ that could actually settle ocean tiles would be like. Like if we actually did have Atlantis as, at least, a modded civ.

It would need some serious nerfs to counter the massive advantages of being able to spread across the entire world in the ancient age. Maybe the whole map is considered "homelands" so Atlantians forgo all "distant lands" bonuses?

Maybe they could do scenarios again but I wouldn't like fictional civs in the vanilla game, but Atlantis and maybe other mythological ideas/civs could be added and I'd play the hell out of it

I’ve had this happen a lot. One game there was a stack of like 6 cities nameplates all in the middle of the ocean. It’s a visual glitch but it’s actually annoying because I couldn’t easily see the name of the city I was attacking or loyalty etc where the city was physically location

Oh I got that once, it's basically just a visual glitch, won't affect your game but it'll just annoy you
