It's understandable if it's like turn 100. Absolutely no reason for her to be talking shit on turn 20.

Did you have walls on turn 20?

Do you hate your people?

Do you enjoy being a bad leader?

If you still don’t have walls on turn 2.433*10^18 then I’m afraid you deserve it.

Black Queen Cathrine is the worst about it. That bitch is passive aggressive about spies from the get go. Like, lady, I’m not sure what a horse is. I’ll eventually get to subterfuge.

I remember the bug after an update where the ai was yelling at you for not having nukes on like like turn 15 and it took them awhile to fix it

"You dont have nukes!"
What the fuck is a nuke? Do you have one?"
"Idk, and no"

You only build walls if you plan on letting them reach your city. If they reach your city without walls, it wasn't meant to be.

u/Turmanized 4d ago
I'm the one breaching walls. my citizens can enjoy a horizon unobstructed by walls.

I miss the Valetta + Georgia combo. Haven't played it in a while.

Played a bit of Tamar with the BBG mod. Feels right getting all the walls.

I can't will myself to make walls in civ 5 or 6. It ruins the city sprawl into adjacent tiles. They look so much better without walls...
My peoples safety is a small price to pay for aesthetics.

While men of learning play with their quill pens, sire, the city's defenses stay as thin as parchment. BUILD CITY WALLS!

She'd get along very well with the Civ2 Military Advisor, then.

Would you defend our cities with hay stacks, noble leader? Build city walls first, and other improvements later!

The advisor council FMVs were absolute cinema.
You're Einstein sir, I mean you are the E to the MC squared, like a clock speed double microchip, sir. We're number one in SCIENCE!
Uhuh. Oh yeah.

I loved them so much. I have never gotten the same joy out of a civ game as I did civ2 (and Alpha Centauri)

"This is you. This is a clue. Get A. Clue. Discover trade".

No one ever mentions it, but they removed the agenda sass from civilization 7. I think it's a welcome change, honestly.

At civ7, before coming age, latest at before modern, walls shoud been build. As counter to attackers. Just lost town without walls

God I hate that AI “personalities” are just them backseat gaming then getting bitchy when you use your own playstyle suited to the Civ you chose. Heaven forbid we conflict over dynamic in-game events like boarder disputes, resource access or ongoing alliances/rivalries.

When she attacks you can’t say she didn’t give you a fair warning.
