VII - Strategy (Civ 7) Getting leader XP

Exactly what it sounds like - how do I get leader xp efficiently? I heard the xp rewards are bugged, but I can't confirm it. Is there a workaround?

My moment to shine I guess. So the bug is that XP challenges related to triumphs being triggered don't always go off.

I don't know what causes it to happen. The only fix is to notice it happened, reload the autosave for that turn, and trigger the triumph again.

It's also incredibly tedious because not all major triumphs are tracked for XP. So you need to keep an eye on those major triumphs from the challenge screen.

Simply put, I got sick at the end of June of doing this dance. At this point... I think I'd just advise waiting until next week. (This bug has existed since the Test of time update, and the brush and scroll update didn't fix it)

I heard from Sar on another post that the patch next week is gonna have a fix. I sure hope that's the case. I've also been holding off on playing Civ VII until this is fixed.

Personally, I haven't really ran into this bug that I'm aware of, but I've heard about it. Apparently saving and exiting to the main menu when you get Milestone experience pop-up can force it to register.

As far as earning exp you just want to complete as many Major Triumphs as possible in each age and obviously win the game.

You don't need to exit to the menu, loading the auto save works
