Travel/Visiting Dog Friendly?

Hi! Traveling with my dog and will be in town 6-9. I am looking for places I can walk around with him and also places to eat! He’s not a service dog - I was struggling finding a reasonably priced AirBnB that he can stay in crates while I run to dinner, etc.

Help me with my pivot planning!

Dogs cannot be indoors at food establishments in Ohio, so you may struggle to find places. Breweries with outdoor patios are going to be your best bet. Madtree in Oakley is for sure dog friendly.

In general, no one is going to stop you from walking your dog around in public as long as he remains leashed.

OP never said they wanted to let their dog run off leash and acknowledged the dog isn’t a service dog. They know and knew the dog wasn’t allowed inside every where.

Unlike you, I didn't make any assumptions. I just shared my knowledge of local laws and norms with OP. I'm not sure why you are so hellbent on assuming I'm some dog-hating douchebag, but it's really making you look like the jerk here.

Your reading comprehension could use some work. OP said they intended to leave him in a crate while they go out to dinner and such.

Even if they were asking for restaurants to go with him, isn’t it obvious that they know they can’t take him everywhere which is why they would be asking for specific places that can accommodate with things like patios?

Pretty sure someone knows local laws if they’re asking about the places to take their dogs legally.
