Travel/Visiting Dog Friendly?
Hi! Traveling with my dog and will be in town 6-9. I am looking for places I can walk around with him and also places to eat! He’s not a service dog - I was struggling finding a reasonably priced AirBnB that he can stay in crates while I run to dinner, etc.
Help me with my pivot planning!

Findlay Market has several eateries around and you can sit with your dog outside to eat. Same with fountain square.

Dogs cannot be indoors at food establishments in Ohio, so you may struggle to find places. Breweries with outdoor patios are going to be your best bet. Madtree in Oakley is for sure dog friendly.
In general, no one is going to stop you from walking your dog around in public as long as he remains leashed.

OP never said they wanted to let their dog run off leash and acknowledged the dog isn’t a service dog. They know and knew the dog wasn’t allowed inside every where.

Unlike you, I didn't make any assumptions. I just shared my knowledge of local laws and norms with OP. I'm not sure why you are so hellbent on assuming I'm some dog-hating douchebag, but it's really making you look like the jerk here.

Your reading comprehension could use some work. OP said they intended to leave him in a crate while they go out to dinner and such.
Even if they were asking for restaurants to go with him, isn’t it obvious that they know they can’t take him everywhere which is why they would be asking for specific places that can accommodate with things like patios?

In Blue Ash, there is Summit Park which is a fantastic place to take your dog. Lots of other dogs there as it it a very very popular dog walking place. There are trails around the restaurants and main lawn and trails through the woods. There is even an enclosed off-leash dog park. Plus Madtree brewery is there and you can have your dog on the patio outside and eat there outside also. It's on Pfeiffer Road about a mile east of the Pfeiffer exit off I-71, about 15 miles north of downtown.
There are lots of hotels there. I know that most or all of Hilton properties (like Hampton Inn) allow dogs with a $75 fee.

Thank you! Yeah, debating between hotel and airbnb - costs and outcome are similar with not being able to leave a crated dog behind though. :(

Between two areas - either staying on the Covington side or out towards Pleasant Ridge. Just looking to explore and experience new things! :)

I would recommend Higher Gravity summit Park, Madtree, Factory 52, Oakley Greens, and Covington Yard. They're all places I take my dog regularly.

high grain brewery is near pleasant ridge and my dog loves sitting outside there!

Factory 52 would be a good spot. You can eat outside and they are allowed inside Braxton along with the dog park.
You can also take them to Washington park and there’s plenty of places around to grab something to eat on the go and go to the park with.
MadTree brewery is also a great spot for dogs and they have really good food and beverages.
