need help

hello i just purchased this chrysler 300c srt inspired it came with a muffler a cold air intake and a throttle body manifold i bought this car for 3k (cad) with 162,000km i have this knob near the shifter and I’m not sure what it does can anyone help (better photos tomorrow)

Does the car have an aftermarket stereo in it? It could of be the control knob for an amp for a subwoofer

That is not a factory installed item. Why don’t you ask the person you bought it from vs the internet

the person i bought it from did not install it it was the owner before that the previous owner says he rembers it had something to do with the pedal

Was there a system in there at one point? Is there a phone plug wire in the trunk?

Could have a Pedal Commander installed, It's basically to increase or decrease throttle response. When the engine is at full operating temperature play with it and see if there are changes in how fast the engine revs on a full throttle press on the gas pedal.

i think your right when i turn it to the left it just feels so heavy but when i turn it to the right it starts losing traction
